Big Sis got a puppy for her birthday, and Nala has already stolen all of our hearts. 🐾🤎 But I have a feeling the bond between Nala and Violet is going to be something truly special. 🥹🐶

Boy, does our sweet Violet keep us on our toes! 💗

Today, Violet did so well as she had two hernias repaired. She is now home, resting and recovering.

Wednesday, we met with her sleep medicine doctor to go over the results of her sleep study. Unfortunately, the results were not what we were hoping for. Violet’s obstructive sleep apnea has progressed from mild to moderate. We followed up with a neck X-ray, which showed that her adenoids have grown back significantly. Because of this, she will most likely need a revision procedure.

Our sweet girl has had a lot on her plate, but she continues to show us just how strong and resilient she is. Please continue to keep Violet in your prayers as we navigate the next steps in her care. We appreciate every prayer, kind thought, and message more than you know. 💕🙏🏼

Violet has a full week ahead of her. Tonight, we are doing a repeat sleep study to check on her sleep apnea. Later this week, she will be having a procedure to repair two epigastric hernias. Despite everything she goes through, our sweet girl is always smiling through it all. 💗 Please keep our girl in your prayers as she takes on another big week. 🙏🏼💕

Another victory for my girl! ✨

She has been working on tracing lines at school and her progress has been amazing. Today, she asked Mommy to take her downstairs to play, and while she was practicing at her easel, she grabbed her pink dry-erase marker (yes, they’re dried out 😅) and proudly yelled, “PINK!” 💗

I’m so incredibly proud of this girl. Violet is so resilient, determined, and always eager to learn. She’s also a lefty 😉

I had to share this with our friends because it was just too sweet not to! 🥹❤️

Since the passing of Dolly Parton, we’ve been jamming to her songs nonstop in the car. Big sister has especially taken a liking to Jolene, so naturally, it’s on repeat most of the time! 😂🎶
