This week kicked off Kaleidoscope fair month! We celebrated National root beer float day, got a visit from the mounted police patrol and competed in round 1 of our fair cooking competition.

We wrapped up Olympics month this week. We started with relay races!

We continued our Olympic month with “In the Gym” week. Participants enjoyed making weights, participating in a cooking group, testing their skills on the balance beam and doing some rhythmic gymnastics.

Last week we kicked off our Olympics theme with a parade of nations and torch lighting ceremony. We also got a special visit from the Jtown Fire Department!

Last Wednesday we celebrated National Teddy Bear Picnic Day with our own teddy bear picnic. Participants were visited by a bear and they each got to take home their own teddy bear!

We had so much fun this past week wrapping up Tropical Paradise month! This week we had a Limbo competition, carved pineapples, played flamingo ring toss, hula danced, bowled with pineapples, competed in another cooking competition and celebrated national sunglasses day!

Last week we kicked off June with a splash! We started off the week with watercolor art, making surfboards and round one of our cooking competition. For this round we made mocktails!

Happy Memorial Day! This past week we had fun continuing our gaming month. We enjoyed playing space invaders bowling, having a guest and playing on several game systems. We wrapped up the week by celebrating our graduates again. They were able to walk the building in their caps and gowns before their official graduation on Tuesday. Congratulations!

This week we continued gaming month! We had Mario kart races, listened to a musical guest, and learned about video games. We also got to celebrate the students from Phoenix School of Discovery who have been training with us this past school year!
