There’s a lot of history behind this little team. 🤍
Long before there was a Held Midwifery & Wellness, there were births attended together, mothers supported through labor, friendships built, families known and loved, and a whole lot of life shared in between.
And we think that history has helped shape something we really value about Held: care that feels personal.
We know each other well enough to know our different strengths and perspectives. We know when to step in, when to step back, when someone else sees something we don’t, and when another set of hands might make the load a little lighter.
That same sense of trust and relationship is what we work to create with the families we care for, too.
When you walk through the doors at Held, you’re getting real people caring for real people. There’s room for thoughtful conversations and hard questions, but also for laughter, checking in on the rest of your life, and relationships that grow along the way.
Because good care is about more than appointments, labs, prenatal visits, and showing up when it’s time to have a baby. It’s about knowing the people you’re walking alongside and creating the kind of space where you can feel comfortable being known, too.
Friendship was part of the foundation of Held. As this practice has grown, so has the community around it, and we’re incredibly grateful for that.
Most of all, we’re grateful for the families who invite us into their lives and trust us to walk alongside them through such important seasons.
Held Midwifery & Wellness
Known. Supported. Held.
