Rays of Hope 2026 - Just a couple of days left!!

The staff at Ludlow Medical Center will be participating in the Rays of Hope for the year 2026.

We are committed to raise funds in celebration of the annual Rays of Hope – Walk & Run Toward the Cure of Breast Cancer.

Rays of Hope supports research at the Rays of Hope Center for Breast Cancer Research, treatment programs and services through the Baystate Health Breast Network, outreach and education and awards grants to support complementary therapies throughout western Massachusetts.

We can’t do this alone – we need your help to reach our fundraising goal. There is strength in numbers and together we can make a difference. All funds raised remain local.

Please make a contribution toward our goal in support of such an outstanding organization. Your donation is fully tax-deductible, and any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Rays of Hope 2026 - In just a few days!!

The staff at Ludlow Medical Center will be participating in the Rays of Hope for the year 2026.

We are committed to raise funds in celebration of the annual Rays of Hope – Walk & Run Toward the Cure of Breast Cancer.

If you've been searching for a healthier treat for yourself this Fall holiday season, look no further! We are sharing this recipe from / Tom Venuto :

Easy Oatmeal Pumpkin Spice Protein Cookies
"With only 5 ingredients and a baking time of as little as 12 minutes, it doesn't get much easier to make delicious oatmeal pumpkin protein cookies at home. Recipe from Tom Venuto's Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle Blog (www.BurnTheFatBlog.com)"

Equipment
🍪 Mixing bowl
🍪 Baking sheet

Ingredients
🍪 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats (160g)
🍪 1 cup pumpkin puree (260g)
🍪 1 cup vanilla or pumpkin flavor protein powder (93g)
🍪 3 Tbsp calorie free/low-calorie brown sugar (Truvia, Swerve, etc) (or to taste) (maple syrup/honey, can also be used)
🍪 2 tsp pumpkin spice (or to taste)

Instructions
1. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl
2. Stir all ingredients with large spoon or fork until fully combined
3. With your hands, form batter into golf ball sized balls, then flatten into cookie shape
4. Place cookies on a baking sheet, preferably lined with parchment paper
5. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes at 350
