Behind every finished project is a whole lot of dust, sweat, and late nights. ❤️🔨

What you don’t always see are the nights we worked past midnight, the moments when we questioned if we’d ever finish, and the countless hours spent learning as we went.

This building is becoming The Liberty Smokehouse —my husband’s first brick-and-mortar restaurant—and being part of bringing this dream to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

Somewhere along the way, DIY stopped being just a way to save money… it became something I genuinely love. Every project has taught me a new skill, challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, and given me confidence I never knew I had.

Every drop of sweat, every frustrating moment, every late night… it’ll all be worth it the day we open those doors.

We got these beat up tables from a restaurant that was closing… everyone said tables were beyond saving….until I restored them. 🔥

Instead of sending the tables to the dumpster, we stripped away years of epoxy, scratches and wear and brought the wood back to life.

This is why I love DIY and woodworking. Sometimes all it takes is the right process, patience, and the right tools to completely transform something people think is beyond saving.
