🚨 ARKANSAS BUSINESS OWNERS — I NEED YOUR HELP! 🚨
I don’t know who else needs to hear this, but there appears to be a major issue with Apple Business/Apple Maps that is affecting businesses across Arkansas.
For MONTHS, I have been trying to claim and verify The Pharmacy of Shannon Hills on Apple Business. Despite submitting the correct documentation and following Apple’s verification process, my requests continue to be rejected.
Even worse, Apple Maps currently lists my pharmacy as “Permanently Closed.” 😳 **update, it now has our hours correct, 3 days after I reported this issue, however they still will not allow me ownership of my business on Apple!!**
This is more than just frustrating for a business owner. It can be extremely detrimental to a local business and, in our case, potentially harmful to our community. If someone searches Apple Maps for their local pharmacy and sees that we are “permanently closed,” they may assume we are no longer open and go somewhere else — or not realize we are here when they actually need us.
And this isn’t just happening to me.
I have reached out to other pharmacy owners and business owners, and I’m hearing that they are experiencing the exact same issue. I’m also aware of other pharmacies here in Arkansas being incorrectly listed as closed.
👉 So here’s my question: WHO DO WE CONTACT TO GET THIS FIXED?
If you are a business owner in Arkansas who has experienced this issue with Apple Maps or Apple Business, please comment below or message me. I would love to connect businesses experiencing the same problem so we can figure out who needs to hear about this and get some answers.
If you know someone with connections to Apple, Arkansas business organizations, local government, chambers of commerce, or anyone who may be able to help get this issue in front of the right people, PLEASE tag them below.
This is affecting real businesses and real communities, and it shouldn’t be this difficult to prove that a business that is open and operating is, in fact, OPEN.
📣 Please share this post — the more Arkansas business owners we can connect, the better chance we have of getting this issue addressed.
