Rounding out our week 📅 with the guys finishing these 2 awesome projects…

Making your home 🏡 accessible without making it obvious…we completed this beautiful 😍 concrete ramp & railings 👩🏻‍🦼‍➡️👩🏽‍🦽‍➡️👩🏼‍🦽‍➡️👩🏿‍🦼‍➡️ in Harrison Twp yesterday, including adding this fabulous garden wall following the outside perimeter on the ramp & railings…

Then our lift crew was able to get this great stairlift installed just in time for our clients to move into their new home 🏡 their moving from California to Beverly Hills MI to care for their aging Father…great refinished steps & tile risers done by our flooring crew….

Yesterday we had the opportunity to to work with the mechanical engineering department of Michigan State University and Matrx physical therapy. Tom Woolley and I created various simulated ground cover terrains that a wheel chair user may encounter in there daily travels. The physical force required of each participant on the various terrains was was measured. Ultimately, the goal of the program the development of a travel app. that will provide safe and efficient travel routes that will match the individuals abilities.

t was a day of knowledge for us at Barrier Free Plus.

Krystina Harms Taught Tom and I a lot about the importance of proper wheelchair sizing, Its not a one size fits all program.

The weather was cooperative and we where treated with an abundance of knowledge.

Great morning walking through our final day completing this awesome ADA Compliant roll in 👩🏽‍🦽‍➡️👩🏻‍🦼‍➡️bath & shower home 🏡 modifications project for our Ann Arbor clients

We also installed a great Vynil Plank flooring product throughout the Main Floor of the clients home 🏡 added front entry safety railings & (3) new entry doors 🚪 front & back of the home 🏡 for the clients safe travels in & out of his home 🏡 each day 📅

The last thing for the client was regulating body temperature, so we added in his bedroom a mini split heating & cooling unit for his comfort & safety.
