A HEARTFELT PSA FROM ONE SMALL BUSINESS OWNER TO YOU ALL… ❤️
Y’all, I'M TIRED 😫...
I need to share something with you because THIS is exactly why supporting small businesses is more important now than ever!
On Sunday evening, I purchased an ingredient that I use in my products for $130.47.
Today, I went back to purchase that EXACT same ingredient from the EXACT same company, and the price had jumped to $184.79!
That's a $54.32 increase in less than 48 hours! 😳
Naturally, I called the company because surely there had to be some kind of mistake or website glitch. But when I spoke with customer service, the representative couldn't even offer an explanation for such a drastic price increase.
And THIS, y'all, is what small business owners are dealing with behind the scenes.
The rising cost of ingredients, supplies, packaging, shipping, and simply keeping our doors open is becoming overwhelming. And unfortunately, small businesses don't always have the financial cushion that larger corporations do.
Here's what I want you to understand…
At The Naturalista, I have NOT increased my product prices in over TWO YEARS. Not because my expenses haven't increased, but because I understand that my customers are feeling the financial pressure, too.
I know that every dollar matters. I know that treating yourself shouldn't feel like a financial burden. And I have worked extremely hard to keep my handcrafted products affordable without compromising the quality you've come to know and love.
But I would be lying if I said it wasn't becoming increasingly difficult.
So when I say PLEASE support small businesses, I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
Every purchase matters. Every referral matters. Every shared post, kind review, and recommendation matters.
We are not just businesses. We are real people, with families, responsibilities, dreams, and a genuine passion for what we do.
I'm not sharing this for sympathy. I'm sharing it for AWARENESS. Because sometimes customers see the price tag without ever seeing what it takes to create the product behind it.
To everyone who continues to support The Naturalista, whether you've been shopping with me for years or just discovered us, THANK YOU. Your loyalty means more than you could ever imagine.
And to my fellow small business owners, I SEE YOU. I know it's not easy out here, but we're still showing up, still creating, and still doing our very best.
