Splatter Ghosts 🫟👻

Art Spark Students at Madison Country Day School had fun last week making these splatter ghosts! We started by using pipettes and straws to add drops of white acrylic paint and then blow them across their page to create these ghost shapes! Once they were dry we added gold marker details, googly eyes and mouths! What a spooky messy project 👏✨👻

Spooky Season is in full swing!

Day off School campers at Village of Waunakee, WI had an awesome Friday away from their classroom at the rec center with me!! We created few seasonal projects including these sunset bats 🌅🦇

Students explored blending and mixing acrylic paints for their backgrounds and then created a spooky tree silhouette for their bats to rest on! We cut out our bats and decorated our scenes with extra pumpkin stickers, ghosts and jack-o’-lanterns! Way to go everyone!!

Speaking of days off of school… DeForest Park and Recreation students will have their first Day off School Camp coming up this next Thursday Oct. 29th!! Join me at Deforest Rec for two hours of super fun art making from 10:00am-12:00pm - follow the link below for registration information 👇👇👇

Hi 👋

I figured it might be time for a reintroduction! I’m Jessica, or Mrs. Jessica and I’ve been running my own private art business since 2021 offering private in home art sessions, art birthday parties, face painting parties and group art classes. I teach students and adults of all ages and abilities and also love creating my own collage and watercolor art in my free time!

It’s been a wild Summer as my husband and I welcomed in our second baby boy to our family; Ozzy Wilde! I’ve been soaking up these last few months and now I’m slowly transitioning into the Fall and Winter season and admittedly my presence on social media has been dwindling due to my attention at home and with my boys. I wanted to give a quick business update as things are looking a bit different now that I’m a part stay-at-home-mom!

I’m cutting back on my private in home art sessions and doubling down on my partnerships with my local parks and recreation departments at Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry Dept., DeForest Park and Recreation and Village of Waunakee, WI. I’ll be offering holiday and seasonal group classes this Fall and Winter mostly on the weekends!!

Please reach out with any questions or inquiries and I’ll be sharing my new upcoming workshops and classes here soon as well! Thanks for supporting my small business and family and investing in your students creative and artistic endeavors as I truly believe giving your students a creative outlet can change their whole world.

Much love and can’t wait to share my workshops soon! - Jessica.
