Preventative care is one of the greatest acts of love we can show to ourselves. A lot of these things don’t have to happen daily, but some do!

There is a unique give and take that comes with being an out of hospital midwife. It’s not uncommon for people to ask me for help and resources beyond just birthing a baby. Sometimes it’s to ask for mental health referrals or asking me to remove some stitches to avoid a co-pay.
Often people come to me with tokens of appreciation, like chocolate or vegetables from their garden. Last week it came in the form of elephant garlic. 🐘🧄

We can come to each other as humans — humans in places of need and humans in places of abundance. And I’m feel immensely thankful.

Did you know if you’re doing Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) with me and using frozen s***m, you can ship your cryotank to me and it will be less expensive?! Yup!

I just ask that you get the 2 week tank window so we don’t miss your ovulation timeframe and I’m not having to haul out to FedEd or UPS in my spare time.
