🎃🍬 HELP US FILL OUR BOWLS! 🍬🎃
Halloween is right around the corner, and we’re getting ready for our Family Trick-or-Treat Night on October 29th AND our Resident Halloween Party on the 30th here at River Terrace! 👻
We have 75+ residents who absolutely LOVE being part of the fun and handing out candy to all the little ghosts and goblins who visit us. Seeing their faces light up as they pass out treats is one of the sweetest parts of Halloween! 🥰
But keeping 75+ candy bowls full can get spookily expensive! 😂
So we’re asking our wonderful families, friends, staff, and community members to help us stock up on individually wrapped Halloween candy! 🍫🍭🍬
Every bag donated helps ensure that each of our residents has plenty of treats to share and gets to be part of the Halloween fun.
Want to help? Donations can be dropped off at River Terrace Health Campus or sent our way through the Life Enrichment team.

A sweet day in downtown Jeffersonville! 🍬❤️
Some of our Independent Living residents took a trip to one of their favorite spots, the historic Schimpff’s Confectionery. They enjoyed browsing and shopping for sweet treats, learning about the art of candy making, and, of course, indulging in a tasty lunch at the old-fashioned deli.
Good food, good friends, and a little sugar make for a pretty perfect outing! 🍭😊

🍂 Fall prevention with a little fun! 🍂
Our Therapy Team got creative with a “Fall Prevention” scavenger hunt! They hid leaves throughout the building, each featuring a helpful tip for improving balance, strength, and preventing falls. Our residents had fun collecting the leaves, turning them in for a prize, and learning along the way! 🏆🍁
We wrapped things up with pizza 🍕 and a great discussion about the 5 P’s of Fall Prevention. A fun afternoon with an important message—because staying safe doesn’t have to be boring! ❤️

🎃👻 Artisan’s Club is getting into the Halloween spirit already! 👻🎃
Our residents had so much fun creating these adorable little trinket dishes out of air-dry clay! With tiny pumpkins, friendly ghosts and spooky witches’ hats, they’re the perfect little touch of Halloween magic. 🧡🖤

⚾️ Take me out to the ballgame! 🦇
Our residents had the best time on our BIG Summer Outing to Louisville, made possible by Trilogy and organized by our wonderful Life Enrichment Director, Noelle! ❤️
Last year we enjoyed a riverboat cruise on the Belle of Louisville, but this year we chose a good old American baseball game at Slugger Field!
We spent the day surrounded by good friends, perfect seats in the shade, plenty of ballpark food and, of course, all the excitement of cheering on the home team! ⚾️
There were smiles, laughter, a home run to celebrate, and even a few photos with the cutest mascot around! 🦇❤️
Days like this are what summer memories are made of! ☀️⚾️❤️

✨ The Golden Girls took on Bradford Woods! ✨
Three of our favorite ladies packed up and headed off for the annual Trilogy Retreat, proving that adventure has no age limit! 💛
They spent the day soaking up the sunshine, trying their hand at archery 🏹, creating their own tie-dye bandanas 🌈, and getting fabulous caricatures drawn—all while enjoying some live music along the way! 🎶
Three ladies, one unforgettable day, and enough fun to keep these Golden Girls talking about their adventure for a while! 💕👑

Happy hour just got a whole lot tastier! 🧀🍓🍇 Our Director of Food Services outdid himself with this beautiful charcuterie board for our residents to enjoy. From savory meats and cheeses to fresh fruit and all the delicious little details in between—this was almost too pretty to eat…almost! 😉❤️ Cheers to good food, great company, and happy hour! 🥂✨

A little “sip, sip, hooray!” for our amazing staff! 🥤💖
Our Life Enrichment Director whipped up some fun sodas as a little thank-you for all the hard work, dedication, and heart our staff pours into River Terrace every day! From the yummy drinks to the extra-sweet toppings, it was the perfect mid-day pick-me-up.
We appreciate our team more than a soda can hold! 😉💕 Thank you for all that you do!
