We went to the bone doctor yesterday and she said everything looks good and to keep wearing the sling for 4 weeks and to come back for more X-rays after!

We also came in today four our monthly antibiotic and got her chemotherapy. We talked to her team about having a vitamin D deficiency and got some labs done for that but they came back normal! We are also hoping that she doesn't get any more neuropathy because this past week she has had some nerve pain in her hands and feet.

Ada did very well with getting accessed without anti anxiety meds! The nurses are always so impressed with how well she does.

We got an additional care package from Victoria Fertig who made Ada this crown months ago. She is the founder of Creating Smiles Project and Ada was her first care package. Since then she has sent other kids battling cancer care packages and homemade crowns. She also continuously checks up on Ada or supports us on our TikTok account. Even though we haven't met in person we feel her big heart! Grateful for her to be apart of Team Ada 💜🎗️💛

Bryan had the morning off so we took the kids to the discovery center and it felt so good to do something normal. We showed Ada what bone she broke on the skeletons.

I'm just so sad. Sad that this is happening to my little baby, that on top of getting chemotherapy and attending the hospital regularly she breaks her collar bone.

It's hard to see her in pain and not understand that now we have to go to see more doctors, have more medicine, and be in pain in a completely different way then what her treatment is.

I try not to think too deeply on what's going on with our lives or else I'll end up crying for probably weeks on ends. I'm sad that this is our life; I'm sad that my husband doesn't get as much support as he should; I'm sad that both my children's childhoods are being spent in hospitals. I'm sad because my child shouldn't have to go through this and I would take her place in a instant. I wish I knew what it felt like to comfort her but I don't. I'm sad because Ada said a bald Lego looked like her when that shouldn't be the case. I'm sad because I had to pretend to be a robot to make sure that my daughter wasn't scared of the machines around her. I'm sad because Ada yearns to be around friends.

Anyways, this journey is a long one. I know that life keeps going for everyone else. But we are still stuck on fighting for Ada's life. Each part of treatment is hard. And I try to be positive but today just isn't that day.

Long clinic day. With the chemo that Ada is on she has to check her labs out to see if they can increase her dose of chemo.

We started with labs and Ada did very good! She gave Archie some snuggles afterward. Then we went to Mollys after to get our nails down. Conrad had to get in on the action too!

We had our regular appointment with our Nurse practitioner and did chemotherapy. We then had to go downstairs and get IVIG which is antibodies. That's a 2.5 hour infusion.

Overall, Ada did very good and was patient throughout the day.

A couple of months ago I made this post on TikTok that went viral and a sweet person commented offering to do a session for our family. We were able to do the photography session tonight and they turned out so good.

I wanted to take professional photos of Ada documenting her journey. Her loss of hair. To show her how brave she is. To show that she beat cancer to a pulp.

Ada is brave.
Ada is courageous.
Ada is exceptional.

She is doing harder things than a majority of the adults that I know.

Interim Maintenance 2

Ada got three forms of chemotherapy today. Vincristine, methotrexate and intrathecal methotrexate. Last time she got all of this she had really bad mucositis so we are hoping that the precautions that we are taking will help with that.

Princess Sofia came and found Ada to hang out with her before she went down to sedation. It was so fun and nice to see that the princess handler remembered Ada!

One of the PAs showed Ada how to use some kind of medical device for sedation!
