The DAISY Award honors nurses who make an extraordinary difference through compassionate, patient-centered care. 🌼

Alicia Moore at Oceans Behavioral Hospital Jackson is a wonderful example of the skilled and dedicated nurses serving patients across Mississippi every day. We’re proud to celebrate Alicia and nurses throughout our state who bring compassion, leadership, and excellence to the bedside.

The DAISY Award recognizes nurses whose impact is felt not only through the care they provide, but through the compassion, leadership and commitment they bring to their role every day.

At Oceans Behavioral Hospital Jackson, we are proud to recognize Alicia Moore as our DAISY Award recipient.

Alicia’s nomination reflects the kind of nursing leadership that makes a meaningful difference. She provides safe, patient-centered care while advocating for her patients, supporting and teaching fellow team members and consistently approaching her work with compassion.

We are also grateful to recognize each nurse who was nominated for this award. A DAISY nomination begins with someone taking the time to say, what you did made a difference. That recognition is meaningful, and each of our nominees reflects the compassion, dignity and commitment that are so important in behavioral healthcare.

Congratulations, Alicia, and thank you to all of our nominees for the many ways you care for our patients and one another. 💙
