🇺🇦🇺🇸
If I am to be honest, I will start by saying I am not surprised by the recent actions and deadly consequences for Ukrainian civilians resulting from the current administration of the country I love, America.
Since returning to power in 2025, this administration has shown a pattern: pressuring Ukraine while easing pressure on Russia. The latest example: already on record threatening to cut intelligence sharing unless Ukraine stopped striking Russian energy targets, the administration watched SpaceX unilaterally restrict Starshield, the military version of Starlink, without warning - right as Russia launched a massive ballistic and drone attack on Kyiv, a city as densely populated as Chicago, and throughout Ukraine.
📌The Facts:Ukrainian drone and missile strikes strictly target military airfields, fuel depots, and energy infrastructure that directly power Russia's invading military machine. Meanwhile, Russia systematically targets civilian transit, five-story apartment buildings, and municipal power and heating grids - most recently killing at least 33 people in Kramatorsk and 22 in Pryluky, including five children, with dozens more wounded.
🧸 A 3-year-old girl arrived in Pryluky to visit her aunt. By morning, a Russian missile had killed her grandmother and uncle.
🚨This is not new. Russia has a documented history of "double-tap" strikes - hitting the same site a second time once rescuers arrive, deliberately targeting the first responders who rush in to save lives. In some regions, Russian drones have hunted civilians in the streets in what's been called a "human safari." Russia is also weaponizing winter itself, and all of this is a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
👉🏽 At the same time, the current administration is lifting sanctions on Russian fuel exports and leaving signed legislative acts unenforced.
What cannot be denied is this: Easing pressure on an invader while stripping defense tools from the victim is intentional coercion that directly aids the aggressor.
🇺🇦 I'm not speaking as an outside observer. I've completed seven humanitarian trips to Ukraine since 2022, most recently in 2026 - Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kherson. I have seen firsthand how the scale of Russian aggression has only increased in frequency, and it is entirely indiscriminate.
But even though currently elected officials and business leaders are aligning with the aggressor, America's checks and balances are still in place. My fellow Americans, we do not have to accept this life-threatening policy shift - we have the power to demand its reversal.
☎️Call to Action:Contact your U.S. Senators and Representatives today to demand that the administration fully enforce and implement the Russia and Iran Sanctions Act immediately, hold the aggressor accountable, and restore uninterrupted military satellite access for Ukraine's defense.
📣 Never forget: if Russia stops fighting, the war ends. If Ukraine stops fighting, Ukraine ends.
🇺🇸 I made a promise to my Ukrainian friends that I will continue to stand in solidarity, and I ask you to join me.
