October 3rd was a beautiful fall day for bocce, community, and a little friendly competition! 🍂

At Home Senior Care was happy to support CSAC’s Annual Bocce Tournament in Addison County this weekend. The weather was beautiful, the event was incredibly well organized, and our team even made it to the semifinals!

Days like this are a good reminder of how much local connection matters. 🎯

Family care decisions can bring a lot of different opinions to the table.

What matters most is making space for those conversations while keeping your loved one’s wishes at the center.

Take your time.
Share the responsibility.
Ask for guidance when you need it.

The best path forward starts with making sure everyone feels heard. 💙

A fall can affect more than physical health. It can affect confidence, mobility, and independence.

The good news is that many falls can be prevented. Staying active, reviewing medications, keeping up with vision care, staying hydrated, and making the home safer can all help reduce risk.

Fall prevention isn’t about limiting independence. It’s about helping protect it. 💙

We walked together in Rutland for the many people and families whose lives are touched by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. 💜

It meant so much to see our community come together to remember, support one another, and raise awareness.

Thank you, Alzheimer's Association: Vermont Chapter and to everyone who walked, volunteered, donated, or stopped by to see us along the way!

We were honored to be part of this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's. 💜

Tonight at our Bennington office…🥳

Our Care Pros are gathering for another evening of training, continuing a series of sessions we’ve been holding over the past two weeks.

It’s a time to learn together, ask questions, share experiences, and build on the skills our Care Pros bring to their work every day.

🩵 Ongoing training is one of the ways we support the people who care for our clients and we’re grateful for a team that keeps showing up ready to learn, grow, and care well!

Parkinson’s awareness matters to us. 💙

We have the privilege of supporting people living with Parkinson’s and their families. Greater understanding helps all of us provide better support and care.

Thank you to the World Health Organization for sharing this important information.

Parkinson disease usually occurs in older people, but younger people can also be affected. Men are affected more often than women.

The cause of the disease is unknown but people with a family history of the disease have a higher risk. Exposure to air pollution, pesticides and solvents may increase risk.
