October yoga classes are the month of the Handstands!!! It’s one of my favorite ways to explore movement. This is for those that have a good foundation of strength but want to take it to the next level and learn how to take it upside down! classes are Mon-Fri 6-7am.

Hello September! While the kids go back to school, I invite the adults to come out and play. At Born Again, we believe in starting the day early before the world asks something of us. This is an invitation to try something new. Each class offers a variety of movement and stillness. Allowing one to become aware of what's going on and get curious in feeling things out; one breath at a time.

How do you teach a child to believe “I CAN”? ❤️

I don't think it happens because we keep telling them they can.
I think they have to experience it.

Give them something that feels just a little scary.
Give them a safe place to try.
Let them hesitate.
Let them try anyway.

And then be there when they realize...
“Wait. I DID it.”

That's one of my favorite parts of teaching beginner gymnastics.

Yes, we're learning gymnastics skills. We're building strength, balance, coordination and body awareness.

But underneath all of that, we're collecting little moments of I CAN.

I CAN try something new.
I CAN do something that makes me nervous.
I CAN trust my body.
I CAN keep learning.
I CAN do hard things.

Because confidence isn't something I can hand to a child.

They build it—one little win at a time.
And eventually, I hope they take that belief with them outside of the gym.

That's what Born Again Gymnastics is about.
Real kids. Real confidence. More “I CAN.”

We still have 5 spots open in our Beginner Gymnastics class this fall for ages 6+.

This is why I teach gymnastics. ❤️

One of our Born Again moms sent me this video, and I couldn't stop smiling.

She's not in the gym.
She's not on a balance beam.
She's learning to rollerblade.

But listen to what she says:

“Like Ms. Katie's rules… if I fall down, I just get back up.”

That's it.

That's what I hope follows every child home from Born Again.

Of course we learn gymnastics. We work on bars, beam and floor. We learn to balance, point our toes, go upside down and discover all the incredible things our bodies can do.

But we're also practicing something much bigger.

Trying when we're unsure.
Falling without being afraid to fail.
Getting back up.
And slowly replacing “I can't” with “I CAN.”

I love getting videos and messages like this from our families because they remind me that the lessons don't have to stay inside the gym.

Real kids. Real confidence.

That's what gymnastics at Born Again is all about.

And this fall, we still have 5 openings in our Beginner class for ages 6+.
