Have you actually taken a breath today? 🧡
And no, I don’t mean the automatic breathing you’ve been doing while answering emails, checking notifications, handling everybody else’s needs, and trying to keep your own life moving.
I mean a REAL breath.
The kind where you stop.
Unclench your jaw.
Drop your shoulders.
And give yourself permission to be still for a moment.
Because one thing I’ve learned about healing while building is this:
You can become so accustomed to functioning under pressure that you don’t realize you’ve been holding your breath.
You’re still producing.
Still leading.
Still showing up.
Still checking things off the list.
So you assume you’re okay.
But sometimes your body is asking for something your calendar never makes room for:
A moment to breathe.
Try this right now:
Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 seconds.
Hold for 2.
Exhale slowly for 6.
Again.
And this time, ask yourself:
“What have I been carrying that I need to put down?”
That question is bigger than a breathing exercise.
Because sometimes the war within isn’t loud.
Sometimes it looks like constantly being “on.”
Never resting without guilt.
Always preparing for the next problem.
Building the dream while quietly running on empty.
And THAT is why experiences like Healing While Building matter to me.
We’re not just creating another room where you come to learn how to do more.
We’re creating space to breathe, reflect, connect, heal and then build from a healthier place.
⚔️ Ready or Not: Addressing the War Within
Maybe your first assignment isn’t to work harder.
Maybe it’s to breathe. 🧡
