Crushing the myth that meditation= clearing the mind. Especially speaking to the my fellow ADHD’s, anxious folx, and perfectionistic people this is truely how meditation works and how to do it realistically. We can all learn ways to be aware of our body sensations and feelings

Through this time of distance, I have been able to provide my services through HIPPA compliant video conferencing. I will continue to provide video sessions even when I return back to the office for in-person sessions. Telehealth really helps me be able to support people from all over the state who may not have someone locally with similar specialities.

And look at how comfortable you can be from your own home (couch, fluffy pillow, and all...)

We must support, and empower other women! The fight is not over until all women are respected, supported, and not discriminated again!

Reach out to women around you to offer support and ask what they need from you. Support women owned businesses. Support legislation/legislators that fight for equal rights for all women..

“We must do more than condemn. Our responsibility is to protect and defend”- Stacie Abrams

AAPI violence has drastically increased since COVID19, and the violence that occurred in Atlanta is just one horrific story being told. All minorities deserved to be protected and respected! My heart and hands reach out to the AAPI community as they mourn their loved ones and are in fear. I have shared some resources below on how to assist as a bystander when you see hate occurring and a place to report it. We need to document and educate others in hopes the AAPI community can gain additional support. Let’s all do our work to help others especially if we can use our own privilege(s) to do so.

Do you find yourself using lots of clarifying statements to refute your growth or positive aspect of yourself? Does that serve you in developing your self-worth/self-esteem? You are worthy of being celebrated so let’s start celebrating ourself more by using periods instead of refuting them with negative clarifying statements.

Let’s all work on being more present and seeing the positive things around us vs missing those things in hopes of an anticipated future. If COVID has taught me one thing, we don’t know the future so enjoy your life now. The future you have in mind isn’t guaranteed. I know I didn’t realize how much I’d miss some things about pre-covid life. I know that I will miss the increased amount of family time and work flexibility when the pandemic ends at some point. I am taking in this extra time with my family.

How can you be more present in your life?

Social media can be a trigger or a means of avoiding stressors for many.

It may be time to evaluate how you currently use social media and how you can use social media in a healthier way.

May it be....
-By limiting time by either tracking usage, turning off notifications, etc..
-Monitoring how the people you follow impact your mental health and energy

What a great way to celebrate National Coming Out day by attending another continuing education course about how to best serve the LGBTQIA+ community across multiple presenting challenges.

I wanted to share this quoted experience from a parent and highlight their ending statement. I hope this is a place that everyone can get to in regards to supporting all gender and sexuality identities. We are all humans and are worthy to be ourselves.

Remember that if you need support about exploring your sense of identify, or next steps in living your authentic life, then please reach out for help may it be myself to provide counseling services or needing other references.

Great message on how to show empathy especially important in helping others who may be considering su***de or are having thoughts about their role in this world. Remember if someone if seriously considering su***de, please reach out to a mental health professional or facility.

-- Vulnerability is not feeling for someone it is feeling WITH them. Holding a space for people in such a way can be healing. This can bring peace in moments of turbulence, connection in times of isolation, and hope in the presence of despair.
