THANK YOU Mrs. Tina and Mrs. London for your steadfast dedication in my training for a CMA!!!! My husband had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and I decided to tag along. This sweet little girl comes in to get his vitals. She told him she was new to bare with her. She took his pressure once and said, "I am not getting a reading let me try again". I sat there quietly watching this poor girl wrestle with the blood pressure cuff.... She then tried a second time. My poor husband had just gotten out of the hospital for a week. I had to say something.... he couldn't be a guinea pig any longer. I politely stood up, walked over and showed her how to correctly put on a blood pressure cuff without trying to upset her. Bless her heart. She then said, "Oh I guess you would know because you are a nurse". "Nooooooo, I am not a nurse...... Just trained at Metro Medical Training Center to be a CMA". "Where did you go to school"? She stated, "Forest College in Smyrna". Just goes to show you that small training centers can be and are just as good as larger schools. So blessed to have been trained where I trained. Now onto the National test.
