Hi, my name is Sierra Hall, Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Optimal Performance Massage and Bodywork. My mission is simple: provide pain relief to athletes and people who play hard! I started my career as an Emergency Medical Technician with a volunteer fire company in Wilmington, DE in 1995. In November 1997, I took a detour to corporate banking where I specialized in business development
and portfolio management. After 10 years, I rediscovered my love of helping others, took a leap of faith and left the comfort, stability, and misery of corporate America to pursue and excel in a holistic career, one that educates clients on the body's intrinsic ability to heal itself. After graduating from the Nevada School of Massage Therapy in 2009, I moved to Salt Lake City, UT where I worked for world-class ski resorts catering to Olympic athletes and tourists from all over the world. I interned briefly with REAL Salt Lake-- a Major League Soccer team-- before earning a full-time instructor position at the Utah College of Massage Therapy. There I taught anatomy, pathology, sports massage, acupressure, and other massage modality courses. I have also worked in high-end destination resorts, intimate spas, chiropractic clinics, and comprehensive health and wellness facilities. Since then, I have built a career in holistic wellness and enjoy being a part of clients’ growth, awareness, and change. I have a passion for my work and love to share my knowledge in an effort to affect change every day. With over a decade of experience in the field of massage and bodywork, I am inspired and motivated to do more, be more, learn more, and serve more each and every day. I have professional affiliations with the American Massage Therapy Association and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I have contributed talks and presentations to the American Lupus Society and the Nutrition and Preventative Medicine Department at Salt Lake College. I received the Presidential Service Award for leadership and community service and I am most proud of the mentorship program I founded and launched in Las Vegas called LEAD (Leadership, Education, Advocacy, and Development) for women chapter. I have completed countless hours of continuing education and will offer Medical Massage beginning in 2022. When not at the clinic, you can find me on a mountain bike trail, climbing rocks and hiking steep terrain, kayaking any body of water any time of year, or chasing my husband and 3 girls on any number of adventures. I am honored to work with my clients and look forward to connecting with you soon! Please feel free to reach out to me via phone or email, or book your appointment here. As the owner of Optimal Performance Massage and Bodywork, it is my honor to relieve you of pain and get you back in the game!
