You get to 2 or 3 p.m. and there it is again: the headache, pressure behind your eyes, or that dull ache that makes it harder to focus.

When headaches keep showing up at the same time of day, the pattern matters.

We might look at:

• Blood sugar: Did lunch have enough protein, fiber, and fat to keep you steady?
• Hormones: Estrogen fluctuations around ovulation, before your period, or during perimenopause can make some women more prone to headaches or migraines.
• Iron: Heavy periods can contribute to low iron, which may show up alongside headaches, fatigue, or dizziness.
• Sleep: Poor sleep can lower your threshold for headaches the following day.

If recurring headaches are becoming part of your routine, book a consultation with our team so we can look at the pattern, your cycle, your labs, and the 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

Coffee used to make you feel focused. Now it makes you shaky, anxious, wired, or like your heart is beating a little too fast.

A change in caffeine tolerance can sometimes be a clue that something else has shifted.

Poor sleep can make caffeine feel stronger. High stress can leave your nervous system more reactive. Perimenopause can change sleep, anxiety, and stimulant tolerance. And drinking coffee on an empty stomach may make blood sugar swings or jitteriness feel more noticeable.

If your body is suddenly reacting differently to caffeine, stress, food, or exercise, book a consultation with our team. We can help you look at what may have changed.

Your emotional wellbeing, sleep, relationships, movement, and cardiovascular health all influence how well your brain functions over time.

Chronic stress can affect attention, sleep, and emotional regulation.
Poor sleep can make it harder for the brain to recover and consolidate memory.
Social connection supports resilience and cognitive health.
Regular movement helps support blood flow, mood, and metabolic health.

And the same things that protect your heart, like healthy blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol, also matter for your brain.

The bigger picture is this: healthy aging is rarely about one supplement or one habit. It is about creating an environment where your brain has the support it needs to stay adaptable, connected, and resilient over time.

If you want a more personalized look at the factors that may be influencing your brain health, mood, sleep, and long-term wellness, book a consultation with our team.

Eating less is one of the most noticeable changes when taking a GLP-1, but your digestive system is adjusting too. Because GLP-1 medications can change gastric emptying, appetite, food intake, and bowel habits, it is worth paying closer attention to how your gut is functioning along the way.

Here are 5 things to pay attention to for better gut health on a GLP-1:

Bowel regularity: Constipation is common with GLP-1 medications. Changes in food intake, hydration, fiber, and digestive motility can all play a role.
Fiber intake: Eating less can mean getting less fiber. Gradually including vegetables, fruit, legumes, whole grains, nuts, and seeds can help support digestion and the gut microbiome, as tolerated.
Hydration: Adequate fluids are especially important if you are dealing with constipation, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Meal size and pace: Because GLP-1s can slow stomach emptying, smaller meals and eating more slowly may help reduce uncomfortable fullness, bloating, nausea, and reflux.
Persistent digestive symptoms: Ongoing vomiting, significant abdominal pain, severe constipation, or difficulty eating and drinking should not simply be dismissed as part of taking a GLP-1. Talk to your healthcare provider if symptoms are significant or persistent.

Supporting gut health while taking a GLP-1 is not about following a perfect diet. It is about paying attention to how your digestion is changing and giving your body the support it needs along the way.

Protein is important for muscle maintenance, recovery, blood sugar stability, satiety, healthy aging, and many other functions. The amount you need depends on factors like your body size, age, activity level, health status, and goals.

For many adults, the basic RDA of 0.8 g/kg/day is best viewed as a minimum to prevent deficiency, not necessarily an ideal target for every person. Active adults, older adults, and those trying to preserve or build muscle may benefit from higher intakes, often in the range of roughly 1.2 to 1.6 g/kg/day depending on the individual.

But protein is only one part of the picture.

If increasing protein pushes out fiber, plants, healthy fats, or overall food variety, the diet can become less balanced. Digestion, kidney function, appetite, total calorie intake, and the quality of your protein sources matter too.

The goal is enough protein to support your needs, spread throughout the day, alongside a nutrient-dense and diverse diet. Our Monarch Nutrigenomic Assessment, the genetic test included in our 12-Week Reset, takes the guess work out. This test gives an ideal macro breakdown for 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 body, based on 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 genes.

Cortisol and thyroid function are closely connected, and ongoing stress can influence several systems involved in energy, metabolism, and hormone regulation.

Here are 5 signs stress may be affecting more than your mood:

You’re tired even after a full night’s sleep
Your brain feels foggy or your focus is off
Your energy crashes during the day
Your weight feels harder to manage
You just don’t feel like yourself lately

These symptoms can have many causes, which is exactly why it helps to understand what may be happening beneath the surface. Our 12 Week Energy, Hormone and Metabolism Reset is a great place to start.

Digestive enzymes can be useful, but bloating, gas, or heaviness after meals does not automatically mean you need them.

Different enzymes have very different purposes.

Lactase can help break down lactose for people who do not produce enough naturally. Pancreatic enzymes are used when the pancreas is not producing enough enzymes to properly digest food. Bile support may be considered in specific situations where fat digestion is impaired.

Broad-spectrum digestive enzyme blends are different. They may help some people feel better after meals, but symptom relief does not necessarily tell us why those symptoms are happening.

If you regularly need enzymes just to tolerate food, it may be worth looking deeper at motility, food intolerances, gallbladder or pancreatic function, medications, constipation, and other digestive factors.

Recovery is influenced by much more than the workout itself. Your stress response, sleep quality, blood sugar regulation, nutrient status, inflammation, hormone balance, and overall energy availability can all affect how well your body adapts to exercise.

When stress is consistently high, your body may have fewer resources available for repair and recovery. You may notice more soreness, disrupted sleep, lower energy, reduced exercise tolerance, or slower progress.

Exercise is an important part of health, but your ability to benefit from it depends on how supported the rest of your physiology is.

Sometimes improving recovery means changing the workout. Other times, it means looking more closely at what is happening outside the gym. Our 12-Week Energy, Metabolism and Hormone Reset looks at the whole picture.

Want better daytime energy and an easier time winding down at night? Your morning routine helps set the timing for your entire circadian rhythm, the internal 24-hour clock that influences sleep, alertness, hormones, digestion, and body temperature.

Start with simple signals your body responds to every day: light, movement, hydration.

1. Morning light. Natural light soon after waking helps signal to your brain that the day has started. This supports healthy circadian timing and helps regulate the later release of melatonin, the hormone that helps prepare your body for sleep.

2. A little movement. A walk, mobility work, or a few minutes of gentle exercise can increase circulation and alertness while reinforcing those daytime signals. Regular morning movement may also support blood sugar regulation and energy throughout the day.

3. Hydration. You naturally go several hours without fluids while you sleep. Rehydrating in the morning supports circulation, digestion, temperature regulation, and normal cognitive function.

Supporting your circadian rhythm is often less about adding more supplements and more about giving your body consistent signals at the right time. We help build all of these habits during our 12-Week Energy, Metabolism, and Hormone Reset. Plus, our genetic testing gives us key information about 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 body's unique circadian rhythm, which is included in the program.
