Today, BU4U connected with some amazing humans looking for respite support. It was a meaningful opportunity to listen, learn, and explore how we can serve families who need a helping hand.

Families deserve support, and caregivers deserve room to rest and recharge. We’re grateful for the connections made today and the passion for people that keeps us moving forward.

💛 Hi, I’m Laurie Henseler—the heart behind BU4U LLC and Joy Services Supportive Health Care Inc.

I’m a caregiver, an advocate, a business owner, and a woman of faith with a lot of ideas and a heart that sometimes runs faster than my feet. 😂

At the center of it all is something simple: I want people to have the opportunity to live their best lives.

That’s personal to me. My own life and experiences with people I love have taught me how much it matters to have someone show up, listen, and see the person behind the struggle.

I created BU4U to help people receive the everyday support they need to stay where they want to be—at home, with choice and dignity.

Working in home care, I understand the black and white. The qualifications. The authorizations. What’s covered and what isn’t.

But I also see the space between those answers.

Someone can have their daily needs met and still feel lonely. Someone can be struggling without qualifying for a program. Someone can have a home and still need somewhere to belong.

That’s why I’m passionate about making room for the gray.

And that’s why I created Joy Services.

Joy is a welcoming community hub for adults 18 and older. A place for shared meals, creativity, games, conversation, and those little moments that give us something to look forward to.

You don’t need a diagnosis, a referral, or proof that life is hard enough to deserve a seat at our table.

Come as you are. We’re glad you’re here. 💛

Bee Unique Boutique is part of that story, too—turning donated clothing and shopping into support for Joy’s mission.

We call our work the A.N.S.W.E.R.:
Action Nourishing Society With Empowering Resources.

For me, that means putting love into action. Setting another place at the table. Learning someone’s name. Celebrating a birthday. Making sure a Bingo prize is something useful, like laundry soap or shampoo.

Joy receives no government funding, and building this community takes a community. Every volunteer, donor, shopper, and person who shares an invitation has a part in helping it grow.

I have big dreams, and I need the village. If something here speaks to your heart, I’d love for you to be part of it.

People need people. I do, too.

And there’s room for you in this story. 💛

As the owner of BU4U LLC, I understand the black and white. I work within it every day.

Through BU4U, I help people receive support to stay in their homes. But being home doesn’t always mean feeling connected. People also need friendship, purpose, laughter, and somewhere they feel they belong.

These are two parts of my heart with a shared purpose: helping people live their best lives.

BU4U LLC — Built Out of Grace 👑

BU4U LLC was never built from a perfect plan.
It was built from a calling.

Built out of the moments when life didn’t make sense… but compassion did.
Built out of the belief that people deserve to be cared for, seen, heard, and valued.
Built out of late nights, hard conversations, unexpected challenges, and a whole lot of faith.

There were seasons where the weight felt heavy. Seasons where the path wasn’t clear. But grace has a way of showing up — sometimes through people, sometimes through opportunities, and sometimes through the strength we didn’t know we had.

What started as a vision became a team.
What started as a dream became a mission.
What started as caring for a few became a community of caregivers, clients, families, and connections.

BU4U LLC was built because everyone deserves someone in their corner. ❤️

And maybe the greatest reminder is this:
We don’t build meaningful things alone.
We build them through grace, purpose, and the people who walk alongside us.

💚 What a joyful week. 💚

As we wrap up our Roots & Rain: Growing Through Grace journey, our hearts are full of gratitude.

This week reminded us that growth doesn't always happen in big, dramatic moments. Sometimes growth looks like showing up. Sharing a meal. Trying something new. Offering a smile. Listening to a friend. Finding joy in the middle of an ordinary day.

Through laughter, conversation, creativity, and connection, we watched roots grow a little deeper and spirits shine a little brighter. We saw courage. We saw kindness. We saw community.

To every participant, volunteer, supporter, and friend who helps make Joy Services possible—thank you. Thank you for creating a place where people feel welcomed, valued, and connected.

We're grateful for every person who joined us on this journey. As one chapter closes, we look forward to the next theme, the next adventure, and the next opportunity to grow together.

The sunshine helps us bloom, but sometimes it's the rain that helps us grow.
