It’s never the same. I’ve been doing this street fair for the past five years or so, and every year brings something new. I get to meet new people, listen to their stories, offer my help, and remind them that there is hope. They share their stories, and I share the gift of Chinese medicine. 🪷
The one thing that is consistent every year is seeing my patients stop by to say hello. It puts the biggest smile on my face knowing that I first met them here. There’s something really special about seeing those connections continue to grow. I was also so grateful to have my mama come out in the rain to support me ā¤ļøšŸ„¹. And speaking of rain… šŸŒ§ļø Water is an element of flow, and that’s exactly how the day felt, ebbing and flowing, adapting to whatever came our way.
Despite the rain I met so many wonderful new people, heard their stories, and had the opportunity to share something I truly believe in. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve my community. It truly is a gift. šŸ™šŸ¼

Until next year! ā¤ļø

And now… let’s make these last three months of the year really count! ✨

If you’re currently training for the New York City Marathon or any long distance race, I highly encourage you to incorporate acupuncture into your training routine! Acupuncture can help support injury prevention, relieve muscle soreness, improve recovery, and help you perform your best on race day.

As both an acupuncturist and a marathon runner, I speak from experience. Trust me, you’ll thank me on race day! I help a lot of runners and professional athletes and I can help you too.

Yoga on the Park for Runners Update!
šŸŒ³šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļøšŸƒšŸ»ā€ā™€ļø šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø

I wanted to give everyone an update! My original plan was to start the classes in July, but unfortunately that didn’t happen because I was waiting for my park permit, which was finally approved yesterday.

This is my first time organizing classes in the park, so I had no idea the permit process would take this long. It’s all part of the learning experience, you learn by doing!

The good news is we’ll officially be starting the first week of August! šŸŽ‰

šŸ“… Tuesdays & Thursdays
šŸ•— 8:00 AM

The flyer with all the details will be posted soon !

Thank you to everyone who’s reached out asking, ā€œWhen are you starting?ā€ I truly appreciate your excitement and support. I can’t wait to share these mornings with you.

Imagine beginning your day with yoga, breathwork, movement, and meditation surrounded by nature. There really isn’t a better way to start the morning.

I hope to see you there! 🌳 šŸ’š

I’m still feeling congested and battling a headache from inhaling all that awful smoke from the Canadian wildfires last week. It’s amazing how long it can linger. I can still feel it stuck in my sinuses. Today I finally had time to give myself an acupuncture treatment, and it was exactly what my body needed.

If you’re still dealing with congestion, sinus pressure, headaches, or just haven’t felt quite right since the poor air quality, acupuncture can help open up your sinuses and get things moving again thus relieving your headache.

I have a few openings tomorrow send me a message if you’d like to come in and feel better. šŸƒāœØ

As a runner I’ve been incorporating sauna and cold plunges into my recovery days as part of my weekly wellness routine. I’ve come a long way since my very first cold plunge (check out the last slide šŸ˜…). Each time, I’m able to stay in a little longer.
As an acupuncturist, I’ve never been a fan of cold or ice, I usually encourage warmth to support healing. But I’ve also learned that, when used appropriately, cold exposure has its place. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in how my body feels, especially with recovery, and I’ve come to appreciate its benefits.
Here are just a few of the benefits of alternating sauna and cold plunge:ā€ØāœØ Supports muscle recoveryā€ØāœØ May help reduce inflammationā€ØāœØ Improves circulationā€ØāœØ Builds mental resilienceā€ØāœØ Leaves you feeling refreshed and energized
And honestly…it’s even more fun when you go with friends, but there’s something incredibly peaceful and relaxing about going solo too.

Have you ever tried a cold plunge? ā„ļøšŸ”„

Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mothers out there. šŸ’. Today we celebrate the women who give endlessly of themselves, the ones who nurture, protect, guide, and love unconditionally. A mother’s love is truly one of the greatest gifts in life.

I’m especially grateful for my own mother and the bond we share. There’s something so powerful and irreplaceable about the connection between a mother and child. Through every season of life, her love, support, and presence have meant more to me than words can fully express.

Not everyone’s journey with motherhood looks the same, but today I honor all mothers, mother figures, and the women who love with a mother’s heart.

Happy Mother’s Day. 🩷
