Self-criticism stunts your growth because nothing you can do is good enough. Even when you make your goal, your mind is fussing about how it could have been better, self-criticizing about what you did not do, and never celebrating what you did accomplish.

Practice mindfulness. It helps increase self-awareness, and the first step to stopping self-criticism is being aware of when you do it.
