Sometimes your soul catches up with you in the middle of an ordinary day.
You’ve been moving forward. Showing up. Taking care of everyone. Going through the motions.
Then a song plays. A memory surfaces. Someone asks how you’re doing… and suddenly, the grief you’ve been carrying asks to be felt.
Grief reaches beyond the people we miss. It can live in the dreams we quietly let go of, the relationships we outgrew, and the versions of ourselves we never had the space to mourn.
And in that tender opening, old patterns can rise, too. The urge to stay busy. To make everyone else comfortable. To say “I’m fine” while something deep within us longs to be heard.
Maybe this is where the clearing begins with enough stillness to recognize what we’ve been carrying and enough love to loosen our hold.
You can honor what was without carrying every part of it into what comes next. You can miss someone and still welcome joy. You can thank an old pattern for helping you survive and begin choosing differently.
Let your healing have its own rhythm. Some days you’ll feel expansive. Other days, you’ll need to hold your own heart a little closer.
There is something sacred about meeting yourself here, with honesty, softness, and a willingness to listen.
🤍 What part of you is asking for a little more love today?
