October is full of opportunities to connect, serve, and make a difference in our communities—and we’re happy to be there!

October 6, 2026
We’ll be at the Damascus Center in Dyersburg (Dyer County, TN) offering primary care and pediatric audiology screenings. 10am-1pm

October 10, 2026
Join us at the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at Rice Park in Ripley, TN, where we’ll be providing breast health awareness and education. 11am-1pm

October 15, 2026
We’ll be with the seniors in the Haywood County Hub area (Stanton, TN), providing primary care services to the community. 10am-1pm

October 16, 2026
We’ll be attending the Ripley Fall Festival, connecting with community members and providing health education and resources. 10am-1pm

Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of connecting with kids in Hardeman County, TN, at the First Responder Career Day! We met Chief Lynn Price and a few other first responders! We talked to middle and high schoolers about nursing as a career.
We also spent time in Haywood County at their community block party, where we had the opportunity to meet City Mayor Bill Rawls and County Mayor Jeffrey Richmond.

Upcoming Community Dates:

Thursday, September 24
We’ll be providing primary care services and pediatric hearing screenings at Professional Care Services in Lauderdale County, TN.

Tuesday, September 29
We’ll be providing pediatric hearing screenings in Carroll County, TN.

Wednesday, September 30
We’re excited to begin providing primary care services to Transitions of Dyer County in Dyersburg, TN!

Looking Ahead to October:
We’ll be back with our friends at Damascus providing primary care services, attending several county fall festivals, and participating in a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.

The Mobile Health Unit team will be out and about in the community next week! Here's what we have planned:

On Thursday, September 17th, we'll be at the Lauderdale County Fair in Halls, TN. We will be providing blood pressure and colorectal screenings, as well as distributing healthcare information and MHU resources to community members.

On Friday, September 18th, we'll be educating the youth at the Hardeman County First Responder Career Day in Bolivar, TN. We'll be providing students with an opportunity to explore the nursing career path, learn about the healthcare profession, and gain insight into the important role nurses play in serving their communities!

On Saturday, September 19th, we'll be attending the Haywood County Community Block Party in Brownsville, TN! There we'll be providing pediatric audiology screenings, blood pressure screenings, and education on healthy eating practices. We'll also display nutrition models to educate community members!

We are looking forward to connecting next week!

This week, the Mobile Health Unit will be visiting Dyer and Lauderdale County!

Tuesday, August 18
We’ll be seeing patients at the Damascus Center in Dyersburg, TN.

Thursday, August 20
We’ll be at the Lauderdale Aging Commission from 10:00–11:00 AM, providing health care resources and information to the community.

Later that evening (Aug. 20), from 4:00–6:00 PM, we’ll participate in the Lauderdale County Back to School Bash! We’ll be handing out goodie bags filled with health care information and school supplies.

Friday, August 21
We’ll be back in Dyer County for the Transitions of Dyer County Open House! 12:00-3:00pm We’ll be introducing our services to the community and handing out goodie bags with personal health care items and health care information.

Thursday, August 27
We'll be providing patient care in Ripley, TN at Professional Care Services from 9:00am- 1:00pm.

Hardeman County – July 25, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Lake County – August 1, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Lauderdale County – August 20, 2026 | 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

July 1, 9:00am: Southwest Tennessee Community College, in Memphis, TN, to provide healthcare education and patient care.

July 7, 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Asbury Cove Assisted Living, in Ripley, TN, to provide patient care and healthcare education.

July 10, 9:00am – 1:00pm: Lauderdale County Tomato Festival, in Ripley, TN to provide patient care, healthcare education, and blood pressure statuses.

Our Cancer Screening Team will be providing services in Memphis and Whiteville over the next week. Tomorrow, June 25, the mobile unit will be at the South Branch Library of Memphis Public Libraries, 1929 S. Third St, Memphis, TN, 38109, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
On Friday, June 26, the unit will be at Backermann's Country Market, 260 U.S. 64-E Bus., Whiteville, TN, 38075, from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm.
On June 30, the team will be at Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library 3030 Poplar Ave. in Memphis, from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. For more information, email [email protected].
