Monday morning coffee chat ☕️

November is Bladder Health Month! All month, we’ll be sharing education and practical tips to help you take care of your bladder. Have a question you’ve always wondered about but never asked? Send us a DM or drop it in the comments, and we may answer it in an upcoming post. (Anonymous questions are welcome!)

At Cultivate, we help men, women, and children with bladder pain, urgency, frequency, and leakage. Sometimes education, a few habit changes, or new movement patterns are enough to start seeing improvement, and we’re here when you need more support.

Book an evaluation or a free 15-minute virtual consult at our Mequon or Brookfield locations. Link in bio. 💛

Jess Chitel, PT, DPT, NCPT is now seeing patients in our Mequon office, and she's had quite the fall! 🍂 Jess and her husband, Thomas, got married in September and just returned from their honeymoon in Italy (hello, Positano and the Colosseum! 🇮🇹).

When she's not in the clinic, you'll probably find her outside: hiking, playing sand volleyball or pickleball, or planning the next trip. At home, it's cozy nights with their cats, Kit and Ruby, a board game, and maybe an episode of New Girl. 🐱

Jess has also been teaching Pilates since 2019, and she loves bringing that love of movement into her work with patients.

Next time you're in Mequon, be sure to say hi and help us give her a warm welcome! 💚

Some habits are scarier than any haunted house 👻

These sneaky “tricks” seem harmless, or even helpful, but they can quietly haunt your bladder, bowels, and pelvic floor. The good news? Every trick has a treat to swap in. 🍬

Swipe through to see which ones make us want to SCREAM (lovingly!) and what to do instead. 👉

Leaking, constipation, pelvic pain, and pain with intimacy are common, but you don’t have to just live with them. Whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, in menopause, or simply tired of putting yourself last, our Mequon and Brookfield teams are here for men, women, and children in a safe, judgment-free space.

Which trick are you guilty of? Tell us in the comments, no judgment here! 🎃

Welcome to our Monday Morning Coffee Chat ☕️

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we want to shed light on symptoms many women face after breast cancer treatment. Fragile vulvar/vaginal tissue, dryness, pain with intimacy, and urinary symptoms can be a barrier for many women after treatment.

Pelvic floor therapy at Cultivate can help you overcome these symptoms and help you return to the intimacy or activity you desire without pain or bladder issues.

Reach out if you want to chat with one of our PTs and see if pelvic PT could help you! And of course…go brewers 💙💛

Breast cancer treatment can affect much more than the breast.

We see women in the clinic after breast cancer treatment who are dealing with vaginal dryness, pain with intimacy, urinary urgency or leakage, constipation, pelvic floor tension, and other changes in pelvic and s*xual health.

Sometimes these symptoms are related to hormonal changes from treatment. Sometimes pain, muscle tension, medication effects, changes in activity, or several factors are contributing at the same time.

Pelvic health PT can help address many of these pieces and we also love working alongside oncology, gynecology, and menopause care providers when additional support is needed.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want women to know that pelvic and s*xual health deserve attention as part of recovery too.

If breast cancer treatment has changed how your bladder, bowels, pelvic floor, or s*xual health feel, you are welcome to talk with us.

One of the things we value most at Cultivate is knowing the other providers and businesses in our community.

Pelvic health rarely exists in a silo. Our patients may also be working with an OB/GYN, midwife, urologist, urogynecologist, GI provider, primary care provider, chiropractor, mental health professional, s*x therapist, dietitian, functional medicine provider, another PT, or a movement professional.

Knowing who is in our community helps us make thoughtful recommendations when a patient needs support beyond pelvic PT. It also makes collaboration easier when care overlaps.

We are continuing to build relationships in Mequon, Brookfield, and throughout the greater Milwaukee area.

If you are a provider or business who works with women, men, children, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, pelvic health, GI health, urology, s*xual health, or movement, we would love to meet you.

Send us a message, stop by the clinic, or reach out for coffee. We would genuinely love to learn more about what you do and how we can better support the people we both care for.

What sets Cultivate apart?

💛 Great care starts with listening.

💛 We take the time to hear your story, understand your goals, and look at the bigger picture of your health. Whether you’re navigating bladder or bowel concerns, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum, pain with intimacy, menopause, or something you’re not sure how to put into words, this is a space where you can feel safe and heard.

💛 Our approach is rooted in education and individualized care. We want you to understand what’s happening in your body, how different systems may be connected, and what you can do to support lasting progress. Your treatment plan is built together, guided by your goals, comfort, and preferences.

And you don’t have to figure it out alone. When you need more support, we collaborate with trusted providers to help you build a care team that works together.

We treat women, men, and children at our Mequon and Brookfield clinics.

Rooted in knowledge. Delivered with compassion. Designed for you. 🌿

Cultivate Your Wellbeing turns four this month! 🎉

When we opened our doors, our goal was simple: create a space where people feel safe, heard, and part of their own care. Four years later, that’s still the heart of everything we do.

To every patient who trusted us with conversations that can feel hard to start, whether about bladder or bowel concerns, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum, intimacy, or menopause - Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey.

And thank you to the providers and community partners who collaborate with us so our patients can build a care team that works together.

We can’t wait to see what this next year brings. 💛
