If you or a loved one uses a nebulizer, keeping its accessories clean is an important part of your care routine.

Remember to:

✔️ Clean the medication cup and other washable parts as directed by the manufacturer.
✔️ Allow cleaned components to air-dry completely.
✔️ Never immerse the compressor or electrical components in water.
✔️ Check tubing, masks, and mouthpieces for damage and replace them as instructed.

Today is Global Handwashing Day — a great reminder that one simple habit can make a difference in our daily care routines.

Whether you're caring for a loved one at home or managing your own healthcare needs, remember to wash your hands:

💚 Before preparing food or helping someone eat
💚 Before assisting with personal care
💚 Before handling medical equipment or supplies
💚 After using the restroom
💚 After coughing, sneezing, or helping someone who is ill

Use soap and clean running water, and scrub for at least 20 seconds.
