To live fully is to risk loving something we cannot keep forever.
A person.
A relationship.
A season of our lives.
A dream we once imagined would unfold differently.
We often talk about grief as though it is something separate from living.
But grief exists because we have loved, hoped, dreamed and connected.
Perhaps the invitation isn’t to build a life where grief can’t reach us.
Perhaps it is to learn that we can carry grief while still allowing ourselves to be here — noticing what matters, loving the people in front of us, and remembering the preciousness of an ordinary day.
Grief belongs in the conversation about living.
Because love does, too.
What feels precious to you today?
Thank you Reimagining Grief for sharing your words of wisdom and heart with all of us. ❤️
