No one really teaches you that your energy, focus, and capacity are cyclical… not constant.
These are 3 simple things that helped me start living with my cycle:
1️⃣ I add my period to my calendar (I use Google Calendar)
→ I look at my month ahead and plan (what I can) around it, this is especially helpful when planning trips
→ less overbooking, more space when I know I’ll need it
2️⃣ I track my cycle in detail: ovulation, BBT, and hormone levels (Symptothermal Method+Tempdrop + Mira)
→ this helps me understand when my energy is naturally higher, track and correlate symptoms, know exactly when I go from follicular to luteal, etc.
→ I use that to adapt workouts, supplements, social plans, meals, seed cycling, etc.
3️⃣ I try to give my body what it actually needs, not what everyone else thinks it needs.
→ I eat more, rest more, slow down when my body asks for it
→ and stop judging myself for not feeling the same every day or trying to keep up with a male dominated society when I am bleeding and having an Adeno flare
It’s not about doing everything perfectly…
it’s about learning your rhythm and working with it 🪷✨ the modern world is not designed for cycling women.
You are doing your best 💪
