Two patients can describe the same complaint and have almost nothing in common. 🔍

A miniaturising follicle is structurally present. Where a scarring process has destroyed the follicular ostia, the structure is gone, and nothing regenerative has a target — the underlying disease takes priority and the conversation changes completely.

That call is made at the scalp examination, before any treatment is selected. It is also the single biggest determinant of whether anyone is satisfied with the result six months later.

exosmart™ concentrates the patient’s own plasma secretome. Where the follicle is viable, that is a rationale worth discussing. Where it is not, it is not, and saying so is part of the job.

liposmart® 275mL - Volume changes. The principle doesn't.

High-volume orthopaedic and reconstructive procedures need more tissue, but scaling up shouldn't mean scaling down on how gently that tissue is handled.

▪️Same membrane principle at full scale
▪️Saline or Ringer's lactate processing
▪️Ready for re-injection at point of care

Closed-circuit and single-use, like every chamber in the range. The output is the same tissue derivative, just more of it.

📩 Contact us to discuss high-volume protocols and procurement.

✨ Aesthetic applications

All built around a single principle: preserve the tissue, don't isolate the cells.
The reconstructive configuration — washing combined with 700µm filtration — is the protocol Prof. Carlo Ventura, liposmart®'s Scientific Director, prefers for that setting. Filter and volume selection elsewhere stays with the treating physician.

Why process PRP and PPP together? What does exosmart™ retain—and why does it matter for tissue repair?

The exosmart™ Academy physician education series begins with:

Physician Foundation — The Complete Autologous Plasma Secretome

This 30-minute presentation covers:

• The biological contribution of PRP and PPP.
• How tangential-flow filtration works.
• What analytical testing shows in the final preparation.
• The roles of extracellular vesicles, platelets, growth factors and plasma proteins in repair signalling, vascular support, protease regulation and matrix formation.

Whether you already use exosmart™ or are considering it for your practice, this session explains the science behind the preparation and provides the foundation for upcoming specialty sessions and clinical discussions.

Followed by live Q&A.

The difference is not a bigger number. It is what stays in the tube. 🔬

Platelet-focused workflows are built around the platelet fraction, and how much plasma travels with it varies from system to system. exosmart™ processes PRP and PPP together, so the platelets arrive alongside the carrier proteins, the matrix-forming proteins and the vesicles that came from the same draw.

Why that matters: free IGF-1 lasts ten to twelve minutes in circulation, and twelve to fifteen hours bound to its plasma carrier complex. The proteins that decide how long a delivered signal survives are in the plasma fraction.
The secretome is not the platelet count.

⚙️ liposmart® 120mL. The workhorse of the range.

The widest range of use across the platform: orthopaedics, sports medicine, tendons, gynaecology, reconstructive and aesthetic work.
▪️Two filters, one platform — 700µm and 1,200µm
▪️Output: tissue, not a cell suspension
▪️CE Class IIa under EU MDR

For most practices this is the chamber that earns its place first - one system that covers the majority of the case mix, with filter selection left to the physician and the indication.

🧭 A 2021 methodological review (Copcu) identified 46 different definitions in use for mechanically processed stromal products.

Forty-six. For one category.

That's not an academic footnote — it's why two physicians can discuss "mechanical SVF" or "nanofat" and mean materially different things, and why comparing products across brochures is close to impossible.

Cut through it with one question: is the tissue isolated, or preserved?
Everything else — pore size, device geometry, whether an enzyme was involved — is downstream of that. liposmart® sits firmly on the preservation side: progressive polymer membrane filtration producing MFAT, a tissue derivative rather than a cell isolate.

🔬 Two approaches. One real distinction.

Isolation - with or without enzymes, cells are separated from the tissue and from the niche that governs how they behave. Blades, buffers, centrifuges and collagenase all land in the same place.
Preservation - liposmart® keeps the tissue architecture itself intact, because a cell outside its native niche is not the same cell.

That's the whole argument, and it's why "enzyme-free" is the wrong thing to shop for. The question isn't which tool took the tissue apart. It's whether it had to come apart at all.

Preservation. Backed by science.

Thirty millilitres in. About six out. 💧

Combined PRP and PPP go through the hollow-fibre membrane together. Water and small permeable solutes cross out, and the retained biological layers stay together as one patient-specific preparation. No isolation step, no purification step, no fractionation step, and nothing added to trigger it.

The concentration step runs about three to five minutes. End to end, including the draw and the spin, the chairside workflow is on the order of ten to twenty minutes.

→ DM us for the analytical characterisation. It goes out without an NDA.
