Today we remember the babies who were never held long enough. 🤍

To every parent carrying a loss: a miscarriage, a stillbirth, a baby who lived only a short time. Your baby mattered. Your love is real, and so is your grief, no matter how early or how long ago.

If today is heavy, you don’t have to explain it or move through it on anyone’s timeline. If you’d rather not talk about it, that’s okay too.

To the moms in our community who are holding this today, we see you and we’re holding space for you. 🕯️

The vagus nerve has become a buzz word these days but it doesn’t get talked about enough when it comes to our babies. 🤍

It’s the nerve involved in how a baby latches, swallows, handles a gag reflex, digests, and settles to sleep. It’s also tied to how a child later connects with others, regulates big emotions, and shows up socially at school.

It travels right past the neck, one of the first areas stressed during birth. That’s why we check it in newborns: early feeding or sleep struggles can be a sign that the nervous system needs support, and it’s much easier to support early than to wait and see how it shows up at age 6.

A baby who struggles to feed and settle isn’t “just fussy.” Their body is asking for help. 🤍

Miami mamas, we see you: another round of antibiotics, another sick day text to work.

Here’s the thing most doctors don’t explain: your child’s immune system doesn’t operate on its own. It takes direct orders from the nervous system 🧠

When there’s interference in that communication (often starting in the neck/upper spine from birth or just everyday little kid tumbles), the body’s “off switch” for inflammation gets stuck - and the sick cycle just... repeats.

Babies are SO smart from the beginning. They can’t tell us what’s wrong. So they show us instead.

A head that only turns one way. Sleep that only happens one position. Feeds that feel harder than they should. These aren’t just quirks to wait out, they’re often signs of tension in the nervous system.

None of it means something is wrong with your baby. It means their body is asking for help in the only language it has.
