Today, at 32, Stephen Picard, adult living with cystic fibrosis, continues to show what it means to keep moving forward.

From playing Division II hockey to completing four World Marathon Majors, Stephen has never let cystic fibrosis define what’s possible. Since starting Trikafta in 2020, his lung function has increased from 88% to 100%, helping him pursue new goals, build a career he loves and give back to the CF community.

Stephen’s journey is a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come and why we can’t stop now. Together, we’ll keep going until every person with CF can live a long, healthy life.

But every experience with CF is different. People still struggle with this disease, and lives are lost every year. You can help rewrite this future.

When you donate today to the Connecticut 2026 Annual Fund, your gift will be doubled, dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000. That means your donation can help fuel twice the progress! Double your donation to support our mission now: https://give.cff.org/connecticut/Donate?rbref=26CTMsocial01&donate=250.

There is no cure for cystic fibrosis, but your support can help change that reality.

Now through Oct. 30, your donation can go even further. Thanks to the Gelfenbien Family and the Laura Norton Fund, gifts to the 2026 Annual Fund will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000.

That means your gift can fuel twice the progress: from advancing today’s therapies to investing in genetic research with the potential to benefit everyone with CF.

Together, we can rewrite the future of cystic fibrosis. Make your gift now: https://give.cff.org/connecticut/Donate?rbref=26CTMsocial01&donate=250.

Did you know you can support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through a donor-advised fund (DAF)? A DAF is a charitable giving account that allows you to contribute cash, stocks, or other assets, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to the causes you care about most. It's a flexible and easy way to support the CF Foundation with a one-time or recurring gift, or in the future as a beneficiary.

Please consult your DAF sponsor and financial or legal advisor regarding DAF giving. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation cannot provide tax or legal advice.
