Hello Wednesday!

HIGH W**D POLLEN (RAGW**D), HIGH MOLD levels, MODERATE TREE POLLEN and LOW GRASS POLLEN today.

RAGW**D POLLEN levels remain in the HIGH range. MOLD levels have climbed back into the high range due to the rain and moisture. Fall tree pollen (Lacebark and Cedar Elm) has risen to moderate levels.

The AQI Forecast is MODERATE across the state, with today's temps elevating ozone levels. Fires across the region are elevating PM (particulate matter) levels, so be sure to stay and out there.

We have some big news to celebrate at ValuMed Pharmacy! Our very own Justin Wilson has been named President-elect of the National Community Pharmacists Association! We are so proud to see Justin representing independent pharmacies and pharmacists across the country. And just like that it’s a wrap….25 years of Cheryl! How can it seem so long and yet seem so short? I guess it’s true what they say, time really does fly when you’re having fun. We’ve shared so many good times and through it all became one big Valu-Med family.
Of course it includes not just us who work here, but our patients as well. If you’ve been to the pharmacy any in that length of time, you know who she is. We’ve nicknamed her the Heart of Valu-Med. She has literally never met a stranger and will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and seen. Whether it’s chitchatting with you at the register or reminiscing about old times in Midwest City. It could be a funny story that she shares with you or just lending an ear to listen. Cheryl is one of a kind and has the ability to connect with everyone.
She leaves us to start a new adventure. We will miss her terribly but are extremely happy for her. Of course we know she can’t stay away so who knows. We may have a new Valu-Med Greeter the next time you’re in!!

After 25 years, our mama bird has decided to leave the nest. Our beloved Cheryl is going to retire. Monday will be her last day, but we wanted to put this out there now so you could come and wish her luck. Over the years, Cheryl has touched many people with her kind words and funny stories. Come and get your last dose before it’s gone!
