John Update

Many of you have been asking about John and have expressed appreciation for the updates. As most of you know, he had open heart surgery with a triple bypass and came home from the hospital on October 9th. He is making steady progress.
We are extremely grateful for all of the cards, messages, gift cards, monetary gifts, and meals that we have received. I am extremely grateful for all of you who have brought and are signed up to bring us meals. The meals are EXTREMELY helpful to me as I split my time between caring for John and keeping up with things at the pharmacy. Also, to the countless people who have prayed and continue to pray, we are forever grateful. Through your prayers, we have seen God's hand at work in our lives. We ask that you please continue to pray for John's complete healing. He has fluid in his right lung that we are praying will go away. Thank you all very much!

This is from John: I learned a long time ago that in life it's not how many times you get knocked down but how many times you get back up. By God's grace I am still alive, and with His strength I will get back up and move forward. It's just taking a long time, but day by day I will get better. Thank you to everyone who has been so gracious to us. We will never forget it. Juniata county is the best.

Need help with Medicare? Neil can help!

Medicare Annual Enrollment begins TOMORROW! This is the time those 65 and older can review and adjust their Medicare plans to suit their needs. Lots of changes are coming in 2027, and we are here to help. With these changes, we now have a NEW way to schedule and streamline appointments!

We now have a QR Code that can be scanned on the flyers in McLaughlin Pharmacy that will take you to a short survey to fill in some basic information before the appointment, as well as a "Schedule an Appointment" button that takes you directly to Neil's available time slots on his calendar! You can also fill out the survey at THIS LINK below:

John came home yesterday!
Thank you to every single person who has been praying and to everyone who has sent cards, messages, flowers, and has brought or is bringing meals. We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and care we are receiving! We truly appreciate every single one of you.
John is so glad to be home and the kids and I are thrilled to have him here as he continues his journey of healing. Our love and gratitude to each and every one of you and to our outstanding employees who are handling many extra things so I can take care of John. We couldn't ask for a better staff, more supportive family, or finer friends! God bless each of you!

UPDATE ON JOHN

We know a lot of you are asking about John. We appreciate your concern. He is progressing as expected. As soon as a bed is available, he will be moved out of the intensive care unit. We continue to appreciate your prayers for the healing journey that is ahead, and want to thank all of you who have offered help and are sending cards. Our community shines in these types of situations.

UPDATE ON JOHN
First, I want to thank everyone for your prayers and the outpouring of support to our family in the last few days. We have felt your prayers! John had open heart surgery yesterday and is doing well.
Our phenomenal staff is handling the pharmacy for us. Please be patient with them as they will be carrying an extra workload over the next several weeks.
I appreciate your continued prayers as John begins to heal. We are so thankful for our amazing family, friends, and customers!

As some of you know, we have had a family emergency. John is in the hospital facing a heart procedure. I am grateful to all of you that have reached out to me. I am not able to respond individually to everyone so please accept my apologies.
We value your prayers very much.

Medicare Annual Enrollment is almost here! If you or someone you know is 65 or older, October 15th - December 7th is the time to review your current plan and sign up for a new one if you so choose. Our mission is to help you find the best and most affordable Medicare plan to suit your needs! We can clear up any confusion and answer any questions regarding Medicare Parts A & B, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, as well as prescription drug plans! A consultation with us is FREE!

-Call 717-973-2075 and leave a message. Please note all calls go to voicemail to protect your privacy incase we are assisting other clients.
-Email Neil at [email protected]
-Message us through Facebook Messenger
-Fill out a Permission to Contact Sheet at McLaughlin Pharmacy. Ask a staff member if you need help, and they will get it to Neil or Rhonda, who will then be in touch with you!

If you schedule an appointment, please bring any information regarding any current health plans, including a current medication list.

Rhonda and Neil are using their years of experience in pharmacy to help people with their health and life insurance needs!

We are excited to announce the opening of McLaughlin Insurance Agency, a family owned, independent insurance agency specializing in health and life insurance and owned by Neil & Rhonda McLaughlin. Our goal is to help people find the insurance products that best suit their needs.

As registered pharmacy technicians, we have years of experience dealing with health insurances and the challenges and confusion people often face. We intend to bring the same level of integrity, compassion, and trust that you are used to experiencing with the McLaughlin family name into the insurance business.

We specialize in Medicare plans, and Neil is ready to schedule free consultations to help you explore your options. Rhonda will be joining him shortly.
