No matter our circumstances, background, or where we are in life, women who become mothers can relate to the beauty, the struggle, the sacrifice, the connection, and the profound transformation that happens within us.
Motherhood changes us.
And I believe that if we could begin to honor that transformation as a true priority — to slow down, listen to our bodies, trust ourselves, and care for the woman becoming a mother just as deeply as we care for the baby — it could change everything.
So much of the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience is shaped by fear, shame, embarrassment, expectations, and the pressure to do things a certain way.
What if we released some of that?
What if women felt safe enough to ask questions, speak their needs, trust their intuition, and move through motherhood without feeling ashamed of their bodies, their choices, their emotions, or their experiences?
I believe we could transform the way women experience pregnancy, birth, and postpartum — not by striving for perfection, but by creating more space for compassion, education, support, connection, and trust.
This is why I do what I do as a full-spectrum doula.
Because every woman deserves to feel seen, supported, informed, and cared for through the incredible transformation of becoming — and being — a mother. 🫶🏼
