New Moon Blessings.
Our lunar phases into the dark.
But not darkness that is vilified.
Not darkness that is ignored.
Not darkness that is hidden.
A darkness that desires to see us.
And in her monthly quest-
She is stepping behind the light..
So that she can bring new medicine forth.
She is stepping inside her home
Inside her sanctuary
Through the chambers of her heart
And the crevices of her womb
And pulling the curtains down for a moment.
So that she can breathe.
Silently.
Into that luscious- dark space.
She’s been waiting for this moment.
For 365 days.
The feminine returns to her beginning.
To her moon. To her matriarchal essence.
She is creating the presence.
She is setting the tone.
She is wiser. She is more prepared.
And the Sun in Leo soon follows.
As they honor Summer together, in harmony.
The new moon is dark-
Because it inspires us to begin again.
to go back to the womb.
to remind us just how pure & dark we are.
That when we take a step back,
That when we go behind the bright lights-
There is a driving force.
One that is rooted within us.
But we can’t see it if we are afraid.
So we come back home to sip on nostalgia.
We come back home to plug into our intuitiveness
We come back home to be nurtured.
Because she is mama bear.
Fiercely loyal.
And she will be here to cast her light through the dark-
But tonight- she must go into herself
And return to innocence.
