DID YOU KNOW?

Some of those incredible shapes you see in crystal specimens aren’t created by people—they can form naturally!

A mineral’s internal crystal structure influences how it grows, which is why different minerals can develop recognizable shapes and patterns. From the cubes commonly seen in fluorite and pyrite to the points found in quartz, nature is an incredible artist.
Next time you’re looking at a crystal specimen, take a closer look at its natural shape. You might be seeing millions of years of geology right in front of you.

What natural crystal formation amazes you the most?

✨ STAFF FAVORITES: LIZ’S PICKS! ✨

We’re back with another round of Staff Favorites, and today we’re featuring Liz’s picks! 💜

🖤 Favorite Crystal: Obsidian

With the Winter Solstice coming up, Liz chose Obsidian - a powerful reminder that good things can come from the darkness and of how protected and supported we are by the Earth. Traditionally associated with grounding and protection, Obsidian feels especially fitting as we move into the darker season and toward the return of the light. ✨

🎁 Favorite Product: Mystery Kits

In Liz’s own words: “A little bit of what you didn’t know you needed!”

And honestly, that pretty much sums them up! Our Mystery Kits are part surprise, part discovery, and a whole lot of fun. You never quite know what’s waiting inside - which is exactly the point!

Stop into Awakenings and check out Liz’s favorites for yourself - and maybe grab a Mystery Kit and let the universe decide what you need. 😉

💬 Now we want to know: Are you a “tell me exactly what I’m getting” person, or do you LOVE a good mystery?

“Crystals remind us that transformation can create something beautiful.”

Nature has a way of reminding us that change takes time. Crystals are formed through incredible natural processes—sometimes over thousands or even millions of years—eventually becoming the beautiful pieces we admire today.

Maybe there’s a little reminder in that for all of us: transformation doesn’t always happen quickly, and we don’t always see the beauty in it while it’s happening.

Keep growing. Keep becoming.
