šŸŽ€ Happy Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast cancer affects more than the body — it can also take an emotional and mental toll.

A diagnosis, treatment, changes in your body, uncertainty, and fear can bring a range of emotions. There is no ā€œrightā€ way to feel, and you don’t have to navigate those feelings alone.

Whether you or a loved one has been diagnosed, give yourself permission to ask for support, take things one day at a time, and acknowledge whatever emotions come up. šŸ’—

Your mental health matters throughout every part of your journey.

šŸŒŽ World Mental Health Day

Your mental health deserves attention—not just when you’re struggling, but as a part of your everyday wellness.

Checking in with yourself, setting boundaries, resting, talking about your feelings, and reaching out for support are all ways of taking care of your mental health.

You don’t have to wait until things become overwhelming to ask for help. šŸ’š

Today, take a moment to check in with yourself:

How am I really doing?

And remember: taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body.

Hello, October šŸ‚āœØ

A new month is another opportunity to slow down, check in with yourself, and give yourself permission to reset.

May October bring you peace, growth, clarity, and moments that remind you to be gentle with yourself. šŸ

Here are 5 Bad Habits for your Mental Health:
1. Constantly comparing yourself to others šŸ“±
Comparing your life, appearance, success, or progress to what you see online can leave you feeling like you’re never enough.

2. Ignoring your emotions 🧠
Pushing feelings down instead of acknowledging them doesn’t make them disappear. Sometimes, they come out as irritability, anxiety, exhaustion, or feeling overwhelmed.

3. Not getting enough sleep 😓
Poor sleep can affect your mood, concentration, energy, and ability to manage stress.

4. Isolating yourself šŸ
Pulling away from people when you’re struggling can feel easier in the moment, but too much isolation can make difficult emotions feel even heavier.

5. Being overly critical of yourself šŸ’
Constantly telling yourself you’re not doing enough or aren’t good enough can negatively affect your confidence and emotional well-being.

Sometimes improving your mental health starts with noticing the habits that are hurting it. 🌱

Sometimes your mind and body are asking for a break before you even realize you need one. 🧠

Constant fatigue, trouble sleeping, persistent anxiety or sadness, and losing interest in things you once enjoyed shouldn’t always be brushed off as ā€œjust stressā€ or ā€œa phase.ā€

Your mental health deserves the same attention and care as your physical health. If you’ve been noticing these signs, take a moment to check in with yourself. You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable to reach out for support. šŸ¤

Listen to yourself. Give yourself grace. And remember—it’s okay to ask for help.

A simple way to check in with your child about their mental health. šŸ’›šŸ§

You don’t need to wait until something feels wrong to start the conversation.

Use this carousel as a guide to help your child identify their feelings, talk about what’s going on, and remind them that it’s always okay to ask for help.

Save this post and come back to it whenever you need a little help starting the conversation. 🌱

Progress doesn’t always look the way we expect. 🌱

Even the small steps count. Give yourself credit for how far you’ve come and keep going at your own pace. šŸ¤

Save this for a day when you need the reminder.

Apparently being a PMHNP and running a business wasn’t enough… now I have to take direction from my daughter too. šŸ˜‚

Behind every post is a little teamwork, a lot of laughs, and probably me asking, ā€œDid you get it?ā€ 🤣

Today, we pause for World Su***de Prevention Day. šŸ’›

Su***de prevention begins with connection.

Sometimes, the people who are hurting the most don’t know how to ask for help. Sometimes, they may smile, show up to work, care for their families, and continue with their daily lives while quietly carrying something heavy.

That’s why checking in matters.
***deawareness

Ask the question.
Listen without judgment.
Take someone’s pain seriously.
Remind them they don’t have to face it alone.

You don’t need to have the perfect words. Sometimes, simply saying ā€œI’m here. How are you really doing?ā€ can open the door to a conversation that matters.

If you or someone you know is struggling or experiencing thoughts of su***de, call or text 988 to connect with the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

There is help. There is support. There is hope.šŸ’›
