Cheers to another year of being “The Best in the OC!” It’s official. For the sixth year in a row, Orange County Register readers have named us Best Senior Living Community in Orange County! This award is only possible because of our residents, team members, and biggest supporters. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to many more years of service!

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

To honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, residents and team members came together to plant 2,977 American flags across our 60-acre community — one flag for every life lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

It’s a powerful display of remembrance, unity, and gratitude for those who were lost and the many who served. 🫡

We’re honored that this meaningful tribute has been featured on the front page of The Capistrano Dispatch today!

We revved our engines and cruised down memory lane at our recent Classic Car Show. Residents enjoyed the nostalgia so much that featured the event in a story:

New year. New goals. 💪

Last fall, 100+ residents from five Life Plan communities picked up their pickleball paddles and competed in the first-ever STAR Pickleball Invitational right here at Reata Glen. In the end, we all proved that staying active, social, and competitive doesn’t come with an age limit. Congratulations to all who competed, including our Reata Glen athletes.

“Thank you so much we had the most magical experience ever. We will never forget this day❤️.” – Garcia, Camp Pendleton Family

Our Reata Glen elves brought holiday magic during our annual Camp Pendleton holiday event! Fifty Camp Pendleton children received new Christmas PJs, met Santa, and chose handmade toys made by our Reata Glen elves. We’re so thankful to see the smiles of the more than 150 guests in our community. ❤️✨

During our Veterans Day ceremony, five Reata Glen veterans received handmade Quilts of Valor from our community quilters. It was a touching, heartfelt moment captured by Orange County Register.

Five veterans from the Reata Glen Retirement Community in Mission Viejo were presented hand-sewn quilts of valor.

As approaches, we’re reflecting on the spirit of service and gratitude that unites our Reata Glen community. 🇺🇸

Through the Quilts of Valor program, our residents craft beautiful, handmade quilts to honor fellow veterans with warmth and appreciation. Resident Joann S. shares how this meaningful tradition began in our latest video 🎥. We look forward to this year’s Veterans Day celebration, where five more resident veterans will receive their very own Quilts of Valor lovingly made by our community. ❤️
