🔮 It’s that time of year when things get a bit witchy 🧙🏻‍♀️

🪶 Whether you want to cleanse your space, add to your rituals, or bring new energy to the season, Sea Witch incense sticks are one of our favorite ways to do so!

💨 Sea Witch Botanicals is a small family business in Bellingham, Washington that specializes in all-natural incense, candles and more. They only use the best ingredients, including essential oils (no artificial fragrances!) and we love them for that! 🫰🏼

🐦‍⬛ We also love that we’re able to sell these in bulk, by the stick, so you can stock up on your favorites, or try one of each! Add a little magic to your life today. ✨🌙

❣️ Hi, I’m Kira, certified aromatherapist and manager of Meadowsweet!

👩🏻‍🔬 I’ve been in the lab cooking up new and exciting things for Meadowsweet. While I have a passion for all things herbal, I have a special interest in essential oils, aromatherapy and blending.

💛 You may have noticed some exciting new bulk body oils on our shelves... Introducing: a new line of seasonal body oils!

🌻 Over the summer I whipped up a fresh and dreamy summer blend called ☀️💧Sacred Sunshine Body Oil — a bright scent with Orange, Frankincense, Vetiver and Neroli in a rich base of Apricot, Sunflower, H**p and Argan oils. You guys loved it so much, we decided to keep it on our shelves year-round!

🧡 Sacred Sunshine just got a new best friend, our fall blend, 🍁🍯 Honeyed Harvest Body Oil — a sweet and warming scent with Orange, Seabuckthorn, Patchouli, Black Pepper, Cardamom, and Vanilla. Come try these oils soon, and keep a lookout for our upcoming winter oil ❄️☃️! We also have something special in the works by way of essential oil perfume rollers... perhaps the perfect stocking stuffer or gift?!

📚 There’s even more going on behind the scenes with essential oils. I have piloted a Beginner’s Aromatherapy Blending Course with the Meadowsweeties, as well as hosted an Aromatherapy Blending Party in-store after hours with a lovely group of women. While these new and exciting classes are still in the early stages, we are excited about what opportunities we can explore and hopefully share more with you all in the future!

🍂 Happy fall y’all ~ Life is better when it smells good!

🫙 Calling all jar-lovers! Is that a thing, you ask?

👍 Yes, I can personally attest to this! Every sweet little jar calls my name - I just can’t resist them. 😋

🙋🏻‍♀️ If you can relate to this, you may need to add this adorable 8oz mason jar to your collection for only $4.35! Not to mention all the other cool jars we have. 😎

🏷️ To make the deal sweeter, if you bring your empty mason jar back in to refill your herbs, you get an extra 5% off your sale - thanks for being sustainable!

🌹 This post isn’t only about jars, however. You may have noticed that they are filled with gorgeous LOCAL and ORGANIC rose petals!

💐 Many of you have already discovered Field Five Flowers rose petals in our store. Bethany Stanbery is run by q***r artists & farmers, Bethany and Tracy, in Huson, MT. They provide us with gorgeous, organic dried roses — and we love to support our local farmers and small women-run businesses.

😍 Check out their beautiful variety of dried petals if you haven’t already. We’re so grateful to be able to carry these! 💖

For the first time in ten years, O’Hara Commons will not be holding its annual Pie Sale and C***r Pressing event. Spring freezes devastated fruit crops across our region, making it impossible to hold this beloved community event. But while there may be no pie this year, the work of building a strong local food system continues. O’Hara helps connect our community with local food, supports the farmers and producers who grow it, and works to make local food more accessible to everyone.

The Pie Sale has been a reliable source of annual funding for O’Hara, and without this year’s event, the organization is facing an $18,000 budget gap. O’Hara is asking the community to help keep this work going through one-time donations or monthly gifts as a Sustaining Patron. Every contribution helps support a stronger local food system here in the Bitterroot. To learn more or make a donation, visit theoharacommons.org. The orchard will recover, and we’ll bake pies again. In the meantime, O’Hara is asking the community to help carry this work forward.

⚔️ This time of year we love to stock up on all things immune boosting. With increased travel, social events, stress, and weather changes - it’s no surprise that sometimes colds and viruses can get to us.

☕️ We have plenty of herbs to help you when you’re sick, but one of our favorite modalities is a warm cup of tea.

🍃 Yarrow Elixir Tea is an immune stimulating and comforting blend that is best taken at the first sign of sickness. Even though this is best used at first signs of sickness, it can be used during a cold and I also like to take it if I know I’ve been exposed to someone who was ill or visited someplace busy, like an airport, as a precaution.

🤍 We have some in bulk, as well as prepackaged 2oz and 4oz bags. Stock up today!
