☺️ So Humbled!! 🩷
A year ago, I bought a building with a vision, a lot of hope, and absolutely no guarantee that any of this would work.
Then six months ago, on 4/2/26, Bloom Health & Wellness opened its doors.
Our first month, we had about 30 appointments.
Last month, we had 95 appointments.
And today, nearly 300 patients have trusted Bloom with their healthcare. 💗
That may not sound huge in the world of giant healthcare systems — but to me, it is incredible.
To be honest, you don’t open an independent medical practice, fight with insurance, renovate a building, take on overhead, fight through credentialing and billing headaches, and expect to get rich. You do it because you have a passion for taking care of people.
Independent healthcare is becoming harder and harder to find. More and more practices have been absorbed by large healthcare systems, and the little hometown medical office has become increasingly rare.
I wanted people to have a choice. To feel heard again. To be listened too.
I wanted a practice where I could know my patients. Where families could be cared for together. Where we could work hard to get someone in today or tomorrow instead of weeks from now. Where healthcare could still feel personal. I wanted to bring back good old fashioned Hometown Healthcare with Heart.
And somehow, little by little, that’s exactly what we are building.
It hasn’t been easy. There have been construction problems, insurance headaches, bills, long days, sleepless nights, and plenty of moments when I’ve wondered what in the world I got myself into. 😂
But then I look around and realize…
One year ago, this was just a building but today, it is Bloom. It is mine. We are now a part of the community.
And most of all 300 people have already chosen to trust me and my vision and come be part of my dream.
Every appointment, every referral, every Facebook share, every review, and every person who has said, “You should call Bloom,” has helped an independent little practice survive and grow. I cant even tell you how grateful I am! ❤️😊
But we aren’t done!! There are so many things I still want to bring to this community. More services. More availability. More ways to take care of our families right here at home.
So on our six-month anniversary, I simply want to say thank you.
Thank you for taking a chance on us.
Thank you for supporting local healthcare.
Thank you for helping this little dream grow.
