Strong women lifting each other up!

We had an incredible time partnering with **Rize Training Studio** for our Thursday morning HIIT class while celebrating the birthday of an amazing local trainer, Xandra Odland of Functional Movement Coaching, who inspires so many in our community.

One of the biggest myths we hear is that women in midlife should avoid high-intensity exercise.

The science actually tells us something different.

When it's appropriate for your fitness level, brief bouts of higher-intensity exercise can help improve cardiovascular fitness, insulin sensitivity, muscle power, and physical function. All things that become increasingly important as we age.

The key isn't to train harder every day.
It's to train **intentionally**, recover well, and choose movement that challenges your body in healthy ways.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped create such an encouraging, energetic atmosphere. We love collaborating with local businesses that share our mission of helping our community live healthier, longer lives.

Join us every **Thursday in July at 7:00 a.m.** at **Rize Training Studio** for HIIT classes in partnership with Elevated Health Moab. We'd love to see you there!

Join us tomorrow for a community walk on the river pathway. We'll meet at the Lion's Park Pavilion at 7:30 PM and head out from there. The pathway should offer some shade and cooler temps on these warm summer nights.
An evening walk is a great way to move your body after dinner, support digestion and healthy blood sugar levels, connect with others, enjoy some fresh air, and wind down before bed.
All paces are welcome. Bring a friend, a neighbor, or just yourself.
See you tomorrow at 7:30 PM at the Lion's Park Pavilion.

It was still pretty warm at 7pm for our Wednesday Walk! But that didn't stop us. It turned out to be a beautiful night for a walk once the sun went behind the canyon wall. Thank you for joining me. We'll have to start at 730p next time!

At Elevated Health Moab, we believe the best healthcare happens when providers work together.

We are grateful for the primary care providers, specialists, physical therapists, mental health professionals, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members who serve our community every day.

Lifestyle medicine is not a replacement for medical care. Instead, it helps bridge the gap between knowing what supports health and actually putting those habits into practice.

Many people know they should exercise more, improve their nutrition, prioritize sleep, manage stress, or reduce unhealthy behaviors. The challenge is often figuring out how to make those changes fit into real life.

That's where we come in.

Our role is to provide education, accountability, support, and personalized strategies that help people build sustainable habits over time. We work alongside our clients' healthcare teams to support their goals and help them improve their health, vitality, and quality of life.

We are proud to be part of a community that values collaboration and patient-centered care.

Thank you to all of the healthcare professionals working to improve the health of our community.

And this is why we do what we do.

We received our first client testimonial and we are incredibly grateful. 🙏❤

"I cannot recommend Elevated Health Moab enough. I began working with Dr.
Alexander and Jessie Walsh in February with goals around optimizing my nutrition,
building strength, and overcoming fatigue. Even though I felt I was already eating fairly well, their insights helped me take my nutrition to the next level.

What completely blew me away was the deep level of individual attention. They invested so much time really getting to know my goals and understanding my specific roadblocks. In a world where healthcare can often feel so rushed and transactional, that kind of compassionate, above-and-beyond care is rare and deeply precious.

Throughout my journey, I have never felt judged—even during setbacks I was met with total grace and support. They are both incredibly skilled, competent, and kind. They offer a rare, deeply personal approach to wellness that has truly improved my day-to-day life."
