On Boss’s Day, ICAN would like to recognize three exceptional women whose leadership, dedication, and compassion help our organization thrive.

Dawn Perkins, Executive Director for the past 11 years, has played a vital role in shaping ICAN into the organization it is today. Her calm, thoughtful, and consistent leadership has provided a strong foundation for growth and success.

Hayley Snyder, Director of Community Living, has been a dedicated member of the ICAN team for 9 years. Through her commitment and support, individuals living in our homes are empowered with the resources and opportunities needed to live successful, independent lives.

Stephanie Reische, Director of Community Engagement, has made a significant impact during her first year in the role. She has strengthened community involvement, fostered meaningful connections, and worked closely with staff to ensure they feel valued and supported.

We are grateful for the leadership and commitment these women bring to ICAN each day. Their dedication strengthens our mission and enriches the lives of the individuals, staff, and communities we serve.

We were honored to visit Westbury Senior Living in Columbia to lead an educational discussion on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Opportunities like these allow us to raise awareness, foster understanding, and share valuable information that can make a positive impact in our community.

Thank you to Westbury Senior Living for inviting us. We are grateful for the chance to spread knowledge and advocate for greater inclusion and support for individuals with IDD.

💖 Pink with a purpose! Today, we wore pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness, honor survivors, remember loved ones, and help bring attention to this important cause.

We had a wonderful time at the MACDDS Conference last week! Our team of seven, consisting of both management and direct support staff, had the opportunity to attend and learn together.

The guest speaker, Zack Anner, was incredibly motivational and inspiring. Each session offered valuable information, new perspectives, and ideas that got us thinking about how we can implement what we learned into our own practices here at ICAN.

We are grateful for the opportunity to attend, collaborate as a team, and bring back knowledge and ideas that will help us continue to grow and better support the individuals we serve. We look forward to putting these insights into action!
