Sore throat? Time for some chicken soup energy. 🥣

A scratchy throat can come with a cold, flu, or other illness, but a sore throat can also be a sign of strep. Strep throat may cause a sudden sore throat, pain when swallowing, fever, swollen lymph nodes, and red or swollen tonsils.

We had an amazing time partnering with Crossroads PTA for their school marathon and cheering on all the young runners! Our AFC Modesto team loved being there, handing out water, encouraging the kids, and helping make the day a little more special.

Being part of Modesto means more to us than providing medical care — it means showing up, supporting our schools, our families, and the community we’re proud to serve.

A lingering cough, chest congestion, chest tightness, or shortness of breath could be signs of bronchitis. At AFC, our team can evaluate your symptoms, test when needed, and help determine the right treatment. On-site X-rays are also available to help rule out pneumonia.
