In response to God’s Word, we embrace and nurture vulnerable children and families by providing homes, healing and hope.

We provide homes, hope, and healing to families, children, and youth impacted by abuse and neglect through a number of homes and programs. We care for children, teens and college-age youth through residential group homes and a foster care program. However, we also work with families to address harmful behavior through our Family Preservation program which provides interventions for families who are at risk for having their children removed or working toward reunifying with their children. Most recently, we've expanded our ministry with a home for homeless women and children, a population that merges with our service footprint of serving vulnerable children and families. Ministry Highlight: Through our Babies First program, we provide teen mothers in foster care with love, acceptance and stability in the midst of adversity stemming from neglect, abuse or abandonment. Housing both a teen mother and her baby, we provide all the resources necessary for them to live, grow and thrive. Due to the various challenges associated with caring for a teen mother, our program is known throughout the state of Alabama for its ability to provide customized care for this population of vulnerable youth. This program is made possible by funding through the Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention.

Great music, great company and an even greater mission! 💙

The Embrace Junior Board recently brought together young professionals for an evening of connection, fellowship and sharing the mission of Embrace Alabama Kids. We enjoyed live music by Naked Water Band, meaningful conversations and the opportunity to introduce new friends to the homes, healing and hope Embrace provides to vulnerable children, youth and families.

A special thank you to Pine Bar for supporting this event and to everyone who joined us! We’re excited to continue growing the next generation of Embrace supporters and advocates.

Thoughts, prayers and so much support for our Florida family! 💚

In the wake of the recent hurricane, we are incredibly grateful for the dedicated staff, community partners and countless individuals working tirelessly to restore a sense of normalcy to our programs across Northwest Florida. Your hard work, compassion and commitment to the children, youth and families we serve have not gone unnoticed.

As our communities continue to recover, we ask that you join us in praying for everyone impacted by the storm and for those working to provide safety, stability and hope during this time. 💙

A new home and an exciting new chapter!

We recently gathered for a special blessing of our new Higher Education home in Florence, located on the campus of the University of North Alabama. We are incredibly grateful for the supporters, donors and staff whose generosity, hard work and faithful commitment helped make this home possible.

As the students who call this house a home continue their college journeys, we wish them a successful semester filled with growth, new opportunities and plenty of great memories.

Thank you to everyone who helped create a place where these students can feel supported, encouraged and at home while pursuing their goals.
