Who knew?!! I would at least have asked the relevant questions and gotten a conversation going about possible hormone replacement within the first 6-10 yrs of menopause for the best benefits for
* Long term bone health & prevention of osteopenia and osteoporosis and later hip fractures
* long term cardiovascular health with the use of oestrogen replacement which keeps the vessels supple & open - important for later strokes and heart attacks
*Metabolic issues with gradual worsening of insulin resistance & weight gain especially around the midriff as oestrogen and testosterone decline and type 2 diabetes rears its head
And more!
Better late than never though - I got on HRT pellets at 60 and what a life changing development it has been for this practitioner!
