🇺🇸 Veteran Spotlight 🇺🇸

This week, we’re proud to recognize Robert O’Brien, a U.S. Navy veteran, as part of our Salute to Service series!

Robert served for 3–4 years, reaching the rank of E-2, and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, and Newport, Rhode Island. One of his proudest accomplishments was becoming a truck driver, a role he truly enjoyed.

When asked what motivated him to join the military, Robert shared that after getting into trouble as a juvenile, a man talked with him about joining the service. Today, he reflects on his time in the Navy with pride, sharing that being a veteran means being ready to stand up and protect our country at all costs.

Robert, thank you for your service and for sharing your story with us! ❤️🤍💙

💜 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Huntington, WV 💜

The end of Alzheimer’s is closer than ever, but we still need you! 💜 Join the Alzheimer’s Association on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Marshall Health Network Arena in Huntington for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

This event brings our community together to raise awareness, support those affected by Alzheimer’s, and help fund vital research toward a future without this disease.

🌼 Registration begins at 8:30 AM, with the opening ceremony at 9:30 AM.

While you’re there, make sure you stop by our table to enter our FREE raffle for a chance to win a prize!!!

Whether you walk, donate, or show your support, every step makes a difference. Together, we can help move closer to a world without Alzheimer’s!
