🌿🐝IT'S ONLY TUESDAY! 🌻🍂

Last week I wrapped up by getting the greenhouse walls covered in plastic and ready for winter ❄️🏡 One step at a time, and this little greenhouse is coming together!

☀️🔥 I can tell you one thing… it REALLY toasts up in there! At high sun, we’ve already hit 90+ degrees! 😂🥵 That sent me right back outside to get started on garlic planting 🧄 and, fingers crossed 🤞, getting a cover crop planted where I want to grow corn next year 🌽

🌱 SEED HARVEST IS IN FULL SWING! 🌼

I’ve harvested a TON of seeds, and that job is never-ending this time of year! 😂 But goodness, I am SO happy with everything we’ve been blessed with so far. 🙌❤️ It has truly been a GOOD year for seeds, and I’m already dreaming about all the things we’ll grow next season!

❤️🌸 And guess what?! The saffron has sprouted! 😍🌱 Now I have my eyes peeled for those beautiful blooms and their precious red threads. ❤️❤️❤️ I can hardly wait!

🚜 A LOT of earth-moving work has been happening, too! The last pile of topsoil has finally been leveled, which means I can start laying out exactly where the fence line and gates will go. Another piece of the puzzle falling into place! 🙌

🐝🦋 The bees and other pollinators are making the most of these last beautiful flowers. The asters, dahlias, daisies and the final bit of sunflowers are buzzing with activity! 🌼🌻 There’s something so special about watching them gather every last bit they can before the seasons change.

PHEW!!! 😅 And it’s ONLY TUESDAY! 🤣💪

There is always something to do down here, but I am so grateful for every seed gathered, every project finished, every little green sprout, and every blessing tucked into these busy days. 🙏❤️

God is so good, and we are thankful for every bit of this growing season! 🌱🐝🌻
