When work ends, but the stress doesn’t...

We all experience a stressful week or a demanding deadline from time to time. But when work starts taking up space that used to belong to you, it can quietly cross the line from standard work stress into chronic burnout.
When your workday is over, does your mind still replay conversations, worry about tomorrow, or treat rest like just another task on your to-do list?
Persistent stress doesn't just stay in your mind it shows up in your sleep, your physical tension and your patience.
Swipe through to recognize the signs that your work stress is becoming more than just work stress, and ask yourself: Is this a difficult season, or has it become your normal?

Your well-being matters far beyond your performance at work. If the pressure persists, remember that you don't have to wait until you burn out to seek support.

Autism is more than a diagnosis - it is a journey that requires understanding, acceptance and the right support.

In this episode of “A Heart to Heart Conversation,” Dr. Najmun sits down with Dr. Zoya Mir for an insightful conversation about how autism is perceived in Kashmir, the challenges surrounding awareness and acceptance and why early identification and intervention are so important.

Through open and meaningful dialogue, this conversation aims to encourage greater awareness, reduce misconceptions and remind us that early support can help children and families navigate their journey with greater confidence and understanding.

When is it actually time to talk to a mental health professional?
A common misconception is that you need to wait until you are at your absolute breaking point or facing a major crisis before seeking support. But the truth is, you don’t have to wait until things get worse.

Whether it's work feeling increasingly overwhelming, sleep becoming difficult, relationships starting to suffer or simply carrying a persistent heaviness that won't lift wanting support is reason enough to start the conversation. You don't need a formal diagnosis or proof of your pain to care for your well-being.
Swipe through to recognize the signs, and remember: reaching out is a step toward understanding, and you don’t have to carry it all alone.

When your brain is always looking for danger even in environments where you’re supposed to feel safe it can be completely exhausting. Hypervigilance isn’t about "overreacting" it’s often a protective survival mechanism. It’s your nervous system staying on high alert to scan for tone changes, sudden sounds or potential threats because it has learned to anticipate the worst after stress or trauma.
But carrying that constant weight leaves you tense, drained and unable to truly rest. Swipe through to understand the signs of hypervigilance and why your mind stays on guard. Remember, you deserve to feel safe.
If you feel hyper vigilant all the time it could be a sign of anxiety, trauma or other mental health conditions. Beginning with an evaluation with either a psychiatrist or a counselor is a first place to begin.
